Interesting breaking news. Interested parties are suing the FBI to fulfill their duties as required of them by Congress to investigate and present evidence regarding the events of 9/11 to wit, “an assessment of any evidence now known to the FBI that was not considered by the 9/11 Commission related to any factors that contributed in any manner to the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.”

For the first time ever, 9/11 family members and advocates are taking legal action against the FBI aimed at forcing the Bureau to assess and report the evidence of the World Trade Center’s explosive demolition as well as other unaddressed 9/11 evidence.

In 2015, the FBI released the final report of its 9/11 Review Commission. Congress mandated the Commission to conduct “an assessment of any evidence now known to the FBI that was not considered by the 9/11 Commission related to any factors that contributed in any manner to the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.”

However, the report did not include an assessment of evidence related to the WTC demolition nor an assessment of several other areas of evidence known to the FBI.

This is breaking news about the FBI and a REAL lawsuit filed by FAMILIES of 9/11 victims who want justice and the honest lawyers, architects and engineers who support them.

On the cynical side, the end result of this lawsuit will be yet another demonstration that the rule of law in this country is dead, and that the media and federal agencies will go to great lengths to obscure the truth.
 
on the sarcastic side, the end result of the lawsuit will not satisfy those who believe 9/11 was carried out by a small element of the government. When the suit fails, they will claim
it was because the government rigged the case. So more request for donations will continue. This will continue till the funds dry up. The truth is already known. Some just don't want to accept it.

I agree with you. If blatant perjury before Congress is not punished, nothing will be.

The FBI will make up some fantastic story about why it is above the law, probably blaming it on national security, and the mainstream media will dutifully report that, asking no questions at all. "But the authorities told us..."

I'm not really interested in highly partisan sentiments motivated by emotion. The law suit is ridiculous and I truly doubt it will get off the ground. They've still quite a sum of money to obtain and then the case will requite approval, and I truly doubt they have the evidence to get that far. And when it fails it will be blamed on the government or the judiciary ~ not the imbeciles who proposed it.

What part of the suit makes it partisan?

Is the desire to see the law upheld "partisan sentiment motivated by emotion?" Is the desire to see the law upheld ridiculous? How so?

You doubt the evidence because you are ignorant of the evidence, and that makes you very typical of many americans unfamiliar with the laws of physics or aerodynamics, and unable to understand that their elected officials frequently lie to them.

I agree with your speculation that the suit will go nowhere, but I'm a cynical bastard who sees the rule of law as dead in this country, for years.

That's what Thoreau has been telling you. The US governments' official conspiracy theory has never had any evidence to support it since 9/11/2001. All it has is a decent propaganda spiel. The same spiel that the Nazis borrowed from the USA long ago because of it effectiveness.

I will be explicit for you: The body of evidence that supports the conspiracy theories as presented by truther groups (AE911T etc), such as no planes, controlled demolition, energy beams, etc, is highly specious.
