If Alien Contact Is Received: what then?

If they can travel faster than light then they may know the future. I would ask them for the winning numbers in next week's lottery.

It depends on what the nature of the communication is and how we recieved it and if it was meant specifically for us.

We are told by scientists that light from distant stars in distant galaxies are from stars/suns long gone.

Contact could have happened a billion years ago or will not happen for a billion more in the future

The likelihood that a message would hit right at this time is not likely.

The answer is utterly superfluous.


The real answer is that the ants, like humans being visited by extra-terrestrial aliens, would simply be subjected to whatever the humans wanted to do with them.


In short : It wouldn't be up to them.

Okay, I'm going to avoid the temptation to make fun of your post, and take it seriously. I hope others do, as well, on this forum.

I think Trump and some scientists and a few of these aliens should go on TV and announce their presence, and put forth proposals to learn from these guys, their technologies, to benefit mankind.


But, of course, these advanced aliens, having traveled billions of miles to get here, obviously have evolved to a state of consciousness whereby they don't need to believe in Gods or messiahs, etc, so they no doubt are going to poke holes in Christianity and Trump's base isn't going to want to hear about it.

I believe that this has already occurred, and the government is suppressing it all, due to the zero point energy factor which (allegedly they have mastered it because that is what has to occur to travel faster than the speed of light ) which, if brought out into the open, would put coal, gas, and oil biz out of biz, and subsequently they would lose their power over mankind.

And, there is the religion angle, aliens would definitely poke holes in Christianity, for sure.

Once upon a time, Government and religion were just about the same thing, or gov used religion to control people, i.e., Emperor Constantine, etc.

Really? The signs of our explosions have hardly started to penetrate interstellar space. And they are very very weak.

Well we've been pumping out radio traffic for the last 60-70 years.

Deliberately directing radio signals into space for the last 35 years. So any solar system within 35 lighht years should know about us if they have the technology.
