Question for UFO & Alien skeptics

There have been many many thousands of sightings, if not millions. We have ancient paintings of (what appear to be solid ) UFOs in the paintings, we have descriptions of them in ancient texts of them (though scholars disagree of their interpretation ).

In the annals of history, if only one is real, that is historic. It begs the question, "If they have visited us, then why don't they present themselves to us?

That's a question born out of the poverty of man's imagination. There is probably a perfectly logical answer, but just because I don't know it, the fact that the answer to that question is probably beyond our grasp doesn't prove that at least one of the sightings is not real. Remember, we must understand taht it's a logical fallacy to impose our standards of reasoning on a race that might be thousands, perhaps, millions of years more advanced than us.

All it takes is just one, and that proves that faster than light travel is possible. That is historic.

And that one will have to land on the White House lawn and take some of us for a faster than light speed trip. Merely looking at lights in the sky is of no help.

I think an observation of nature gives us the incontrovertible answer, to wit:

In nature, there is not one of anything. Not one fly, not one snake, not one foish, not one bear, not one microbe, not one grain of sand, ad infinitum.

Therefore, it simply cannot be possible that there is only one planet with intelligent life on it. If the universe is infinite, then the number must be in the trillions, and the idea that not one of them have discovered a means of interstellar travel is simply not logical. We have put all of our intellectual eggs in Einstein's basket, i.e., one cannot travel faster than the speed of light. That is true for the paradigm in which that equation is born. But is that the end of it? I wouldn't make such an assumption, if I were a scientist. Since when do scientists place limits on imagination and possibility? Not the innovators, anyway.

Nobody is saying that intelligent life does not exist the the universe, possibly millions of light years away and millions of years away. The chances of them discovering us are vanishingly small.

UFOs are just what the name says, unidentified flying objects. That doesn't mean aliens. And with all the cameras around, why is every video of a UFO some grainy, sketchy things where all you really see is some lights moving fast? It's no coincidence that Area 51 near US testing sites had a lot of UFO sightings, the military testing new technology.

And why would aliens fly around in broad daylight, or with giant lights shining at night? They wouldn't want to be detected. Come on, there are no aliens here

And watching documentaries mean absolutely nothing, their goal is to push their agenda and their view, they can make anything seem legit. I watched one on the conspiracy that Paul McCartney died in a car accident and they found a look a like for him and even they made it sound convincing even though it was ridiculous

If they wanted to be detected then they would have made real contact instead of buzzing around and anally probing people. But as I said earlier aliens have teenagers too. Maybe it's a kind of alien spring break.

Why did you say that the film answered my question?

I didn't. You have me confused with the OP.

You asked "If you come across the answer as to why aliens behave the way that they do when they get here then please share it with us."

What I have watch of the film, it has not answered your question. What I stated was "Wouldn't you have to ask the aliens? I don't think anyone has met or asked one your question." (with a sarcastic grin.)

I beg your pardon, my mistake.

I beg your pardon, my mistake.

We are good.

Not sure if I will make to the end of the film. Like I stated earlier it reminds me of an updated version of Ancient Aliens on the History channel. A lot of "what if" statements and speculation. Like the guy who stated is was probable that the "aliens observed the nuclear bomb testing at Roswell and became concerned.

It will be interesting to see if any hard evidence, like alien bodies are ever released for the public to see. The evidence of a more intelligence life visiting us is like trying to prove Bigfoot exists.

And not sure they would even want to make contact seeing what assholes humans are

These aliens board their faster than light ship somewhere a vast distance away in our galaxy or a vaster distance away in another galaxy. They decide to point their ship at one of the billions of stars available to them and choose the Sun. Not a very likely scenario, they would have no clue that we are here.

That is actually a serious consideration. There may be a very good reason as to why other intelligence do not advertise their whereabouts.

We may be arseholes but that does not mean we are the only or biggest arseholes out there.

Yes, just look at David Icke's Lizard people. They are doing evil deeds disguised as the British royal family.

Don't you just love people who say that a film gives an answer to a question but won't say what the answer is?

Don't you love it when people ignore the OP.?

That is all well and good, but in over 70 years of UFOmania, we still do not have any pictures that signify anything as being extra terrestrial, just a bunch of blurs, fakes, and quackery.

All it would take is one photo of a 50 foot high purple unicorn to prove that 50 foot high purple unicorns are possible too....

I have a question who is "they". Seems "they" seem to be allowing Netflix to show the film. So your point about not showing on TV is not much of a point. Netflix has about 94 million paid subscribers worldwide.

I have yet to finish the film, but so far it looks to me to be a lot like an updated version of Ancient Aliens from the History channel. Which by the way is on TV. There could very well be more advanced life out in the universe. When I get time I will finish watching the film.

Patience, it gets better, imo.

The question is how did these aliens find us? The chances are infinitesimally small.

Why would they have to be looking? Maybe they are traveling to random points in space or more likely that are doing what we are presently doing -- using specialized telescopes to determine planets more likely to harbor life.

for any biological creature incapable of folding the universe over on itself. the rules say that there's probably no way to exceed the speed of light unless infinite mass is something you enjoy, and probably not even then. look at that ****, man. those are galaxies. and those are just the ones that we can see. those distances are incredible.

Why does it have to be a biological creature? What if you could compress matter from artificial life forms to allow it travel at light speeds and the rematerialize it?

So it takes thousands or millions of years for an artificial life form to get to a destination. What's the big deal if it has a almost infinite lifespan?

what's the motivation? they ran out of Honey Smacks or something? i don't buy it. even at light speed, these distances are enormous. i doubt that we've been visited by intelligent life from other worlds.

Why are you avoiding questions? Answer what I asked. "I have a question who is "they"."

It is your statement that "they" won't allow the film on tv. Yet, through netflix it is. Makes me wonder what else you have wrong.

If it gets better, give me the time stamp to the good parts. With Netflix one can fast forward.

The question followed on from the OP. This film just rehashes tired old stuff, I've read the reviews. So you have no answer? The film does not answer my question? You said that it did.

And after all those years they abduct and anally probe people and scare rednecks on lonely roads at night? Why? Apparently the film gives the answer but Oscar won't share it.

I asked him who "they" are but no answer as of even date. This is going the way of all CT threads. These people don't seem to grasp the point of a discussion site.

Surely there would be more interesting places to visit. There must be an Intergalactic equivalent of Disneyland.

statistically speaking, it's possible.

Just as likely as faster than light travel.

i don't know. some intergalactic Pirate's Cove seems more likely to me than achieving infinite mass. of course, one has to consider the simulated universe theory, which may or may not include cheat codes and

I read the neg reviews and they are anemic compared to the richness of the film , you really should watch it, the entire film not just part And when you do I will give more weight to your comments.
