Pope making his claim to be rightful ruler of the world

The popes claim to be the rightful ruler of the world .... as "vicar of Christ", of course. Pope Francis is simply enacting the papal claim to the max.

Many modern people think the pope is something of an irrelevant character. But many in high places take the Pope/Papacy/Vatican very seriously. Even see themselves as servants of the Pope.

Having an ambassador to a country is hardly being a servant to the pope. Very few of the top leaders of the world are even Catholic

I did NOT claim that "all" see themselves as servants of the Pope ... but I am sure SOME do. You think the Pope is insignificant in regard to world events ? OK, your ignorance is noted.
