"The New Yorker published a story Friday detailing how Donald Trump allegedly carries on and hides his extra-marital relationships. The report features an eight-page handwritten diary entry by former Playmate Karen McDougal, submitted to the magazine by a friend, detailing an alleged 2006 affair that overlapped with Trump’s reported relationship with Stormy Daniels, the methods he used to keep it under wraps, and the extensive nondisclosure agreement American Media, Inc. had her sign while purchasing the exclusive rights to McDougal’s story before ultimately killing it.
The reporting of Daniels’s and McDougal’s alleged affairs suggest that the president typically buys silence via one of two ways: His personal attorney and fixer Michael Cohen makes a payout which requires a non-disclosure agreement or the National Enquirer’s parent company — helmed by Trump ally David Pecker — purchases exclusive rights to the story and then shelves it. Either way, a substantial amount of money changes hands and an ironclad confidentiality agreement is signed. According to the New Yorker, both Daniels and McDougal received payments and and signed NDA’s around the same time in 2016:"

Oh where oh where are all those White Evangelical Christians. Just what I thought all along a bunch of hypocrites that use their love of Jesus as a political football. My only hope is that these turds do meet Jesus someday and I hope Jesus gives me a big bag of popcorn and a ringside seat to that event. :lamo

"There is something in the book that I was absolutely sure of but it was so incendiary that I just didn’t have the ultimate proof,” Wolf explained on Friday’s Real Time with Bill Maher about Trump’s alleged indiscretion, later referencing the piece of evidence that exposed former President Bill Clinton’s affair with Monica Lewinsky in the ’90s. “I didn’t have the blue dress.”

Maher, 62, pressed for details, asking, “It’s somebody [Trump is] f—— now?”

“It is. And it’s… you just have to read between the lines,” Wolff said, adding that the White House has “back doors” that allow visitors to enter without being noticed. “It’s toward the end of the book. You just have to… you’ll know it. Now that I’ve told you, when you hit that paragraph, you’re going to say, ‘Bingo.’ ”

"Wolff claims Trump is a “notorious womanizer” who’s often said that one of the things that makes life worthwhile is “getting your friends’ wives into bed.”

In pursuing a friend’s wife, Wolff alleges that the “scrupleless” Trump would try to show the woman in question that her husband was susceptible to straying. More than once, Trump reportedly invited a male friend to his office and then tried to entrap the friend into admitting he’d been unfaithful or would be unfaithful to his wife — all while the wife was on speakerphone, listening in.

“Do you still like having sex with your wife? How often? You must have had a better f— than your wife? Tell me about it,” Trump would allegedly say. “I have girls coming in from Los Angeles at three o’clock. We can go upstairs and have a great time.”

The thread says Conspiracies to Keep Presidential Extra-Marital Affairs Secret? Was Trump president in 2006? That's news to me. Another troll thread.

So the leopard has changed his spots?

Wolf does not know the truth for Trump's first year as US President, using the back doors?

Trump never hits on married women?

Secrecy for the past infidelities is not a concern for Trump today, as President?

Have you asked Melania what she thinks of press stories about Trump's past infidelities, today?

I don't care. Just like you didn't care when, for example, Bill Clinton was investigated for sexual indiscretions while he was president (I'm guessing you're old enough). Or I could've chosen any Kennedy.

Why not create an exception to Perjury, for sexual matters, between consenting adults, don't ask and don't tell. Denying infidelity, should be legal, because the dishonesty is to honor the innocent spouse.

Marriage vows are, in reality, aspirational. Sex between consenting adults should be private. A Matter for religious teaching and pontification.

Because he was married in 2006, he conspired with his lawyers and others to keep the affair secret. MANY people do that. So did I, but I didn't pay lawyers to do it. Humans can conspire to do things other than attack WTC. Conspiracy is very common amongst humans. We likes our secrets. ;)

David Pecker, how apropos. Likely in more ways than one.

"This database is inevitably incomplete, partly because the White House — unlike the Obama administration — refuses to release a public log of its visitors. (Barack Obama’s version was not a full record of all his meetings either, of course.) Official White House media advisories about Trump’s activities have also left out information at times, failing to mention his encounters with Drudge or former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin."

"But POLITICO has compiled its own log, drawn from sources including White House schedules, news stories and pool reports filed by reporters who follow the president’s travels. The data set is the most comprehensive public list available of the people who have had access to the president since Jan. 20, either in the White House, on the phone or in locations such as Mar-a-Lago.

Information about who meets with the president would be valuable to understanding any administration, offering a window into the range of interest groups and personalities that have an opportunity to shape the White House’s deliberations. That may be doubly true for Trump, who has been known to make decisions on the fly based on even brief conversations — for example, the 10-minute exchange with Chinese President Xi Jinping that he says changed his thinking about China’s influence on North Korea. "

Politico is trying to establish a log of President Trump's contacts with people, including all visitors t the White House.

"The Trump administration will keep the records of who visits the White House secret, ending a practice started under the Obama administration of partially releasing visitor logs, a White House official said Friday.

Even though President Trump led chants of “drain the swamp” during the campaign and promised to protect government business from special interests, the decision makes it harder for the public to know who is influencing the president and his close advisors.

Keeping the visitor logs hidden from public view will protect the privacy of visitors and is meant to address security risks that may be posed if people are identified publicly as close to Trump, White House communications director Mike Dubke said Friday."

Pres Trump did not take Hope Hicks to California, on his trip.

"March 12 Email the author

SAN DIEGO — When President Trump touches down here Tuesday, he will be landing in the cradle of the resistance to his presidency — and then thumbing his nose at those who oppose him.

On his first trip to California since taking office, Trump is scheduled to head down to the U.S.-Mexico border to inspect eight prototypes for his long-promised wall.

While the move is being enthusiastically welcomed by Trump’s supporters, it is expected to draw protests on both sides of the border. And it invited scorn Monday from leading Democrats here who have sought through legislation and lawsuits to fight an array of Trump policies, ranging from immigration to offshore drilling to health-care access.

“This visit is a political stunt to rally his....

How can Hope Hicks be guilty of Obstruction of Justice?

even if she in fact said, Trump Jr. E mails would not see the light of day, the memo they were writing was for a press release, not a response to a subpoena for documents, or even a FOIA request, as I understand it.

"Aboard Air Force One on a flight home from Europe last July, President Trump and his advisers raced to cobble together a news release about a mysterious meeting at Trump Tower the previous summer between Russians and top Trump campaign officials. Rather than acknowledge the meeting’s intended purpose — to obtain political dirt about Hillary Clinton from the Russian government — the statement instead described the meeting as being about an obscure Russian adoption policy.

Creating a lie in order to explicitly provide cover for a direct example of collusion between Trump’s campaign and the Russian government … doesn’t have a handy get-out-of-obstruction-free excuse."

Hope Hicks had no way to destroy all traces of Donald Junior's E-Mails, of which methods were conceived of at that time. Hoe was drafting a press release.

"President Donald Trump made many inaccurate statements in 2017. His White House team seems to be following in his footsteps when defending him.

Some of Trump’s staffers have made the argument that it is valid to use inaccurate facts to bolster larger narratives — like when press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders recently told reporters......"

CORRECTION:

Deliberate Lies, written or oral, by federal officials about government business, are crimes.

18 USC 1001 is a federal statute prohibiting falsifications by Federal Government officials.

Are Alternative Facts "false statements"? What about White Lies?

Section 1001 of 18USC has become as irrelevant as Section 2441 of that title of the USC. And as irrelevant as the War Powers Act. On paper, but never enforced, never obeyed.

As Communications Director, Hope Hicks might be expected to take responsibility for any and all statements by the White House.

If they give Hope Hicks the job title of Secretary, then she could continue having input to Trump's communications, without having to take responsibility for Any White House communications. The congressional hearing probably tried to get Hope to take responsibility for statements by the White House.

Rob Porter had been visiting Hope Hicks apartment, and dating her. I don't know if the Secretary job title is still open, and ther may be some similar job title, with a high pay grade. Rob Porter was making the same as Hope Hicks, as Communications Director.

"White House communications director Hope Hicks and former staff secretary Rob Porter are no longer dating." 2-14-18
