Here's the definition of Rocket Surgery:

"A mixed metaphor describing a non-existent, yet implicitly high level of qualification. The greatness of this term is in its subtle ability to call someone stupid twice in one euphemism. The irony may go over someone's head and they would call out that this field of study doesn't exist."

I would agree the retarded claim that Obama is Muslim should not be placed on the right wing. Thats unfair and inaccurate. Millions and millions of people on the right are way to smart to ever say somethign so stupid.

Where the unfair and unfortunate stereotype comes from is the people that make such idiotic claims happen to be right wing. But they dont say it cause they are right wing they say cause they are stupid. Similar to those that base gay rights and happen to be christian, they dont do it because they are Christians they do it because they are bigoted morons.
 
Whenever this birther nonsense gets raised, the implication is that there is something wrong with being an Arab-American or a Muslim.

To some people absolutely, not to normal people though. Example, Roy Moore said a practicing Muslim should not be allowed to serve in Congress by reason of his faith. Then again he was also a whack job birther who suggested that 9/11 happened maybe because we have distanced ourselves from God and because we allow sodomy and abortion.
