To get everything started, I personally believe aliens are real, in my eyes there's no way they're not real. Infinite universe with infinite planets, stars, nebulas, etc. There has to be intelligent alien life, we can't be the only intelligent living beings in the universe.

In an era where 80% of the population has a video camera in their pocket at all times, I find it hard to believe anyone is visiting us.
 
Space travel is done by robots for lack of a better word. Also, all equipment is stealth or invisible and programmed to not only change configurations but like I said become invisible. Think what our technology will be in a thousand years and you will agree my idea is not far fetched at all. All scientists say man will have to alter his genetic make up for far travel in order to survive. Would it not seem easier to send droids than to risk and concern about the welfare of lives? The planned trip to Mars is the first great example of how better we would feel if we were sending AI droids instead of people.
 
Stealth technology dictates they could be everywhere.
 
Lets be realistic....if you were an outsider looking in the window of humanities dysfunctional house, would you want to knock on that door?

maybe if i had a big technological advantage and intelligent life seems to be super rare

more likely if my own species has a long history of dysfunction and humans just seem messed up because their not that old yet

Aliens definitely exist. That they visit the earth, however, is a longshot. But, my guess is that some just may have landed here by accident, most likely embedded in meteorites.
