JFK Document Dump Reveals CIA Planned To Bomb Miami And Blame Cuban Terrorists

Thursday marked the release of 2,800 declassified documents pertaining to the assassination of John F Kennedy and in those documents was a proposal from the CIA to conduct a 'false flag' event that would bomb Miami and blame it on pro-Castro Cuban terrorists. The conspiracy to bomb domestic soil was outlined in documents from Operation Mongoose in 1960. The CIA report says,
"We could develop a Communist Cuban terror campaign in the Miami area, in other Florida cities and even in Washington. We could sink a boatload of Cubans enroute to Florida (real or simulated). We could foster attempts on lives of Cuban refugees in the United States even to the extent of wounding in instances to be widely publicized.
Exploding a few plastic bombs in carefully chosen spots, the arrest of a Cuban agent and the release of prepared documents substantiating Cuban involvement also would be helpful in projecting the idea of an irresponsible government."

well, what about Operation Northwoods, a plan signed off by EVERY single member of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff & presented to JFK; he refused to sign it .........

it proposed acts of terrorism by US persons, on US soil, using US commercial airliners, with US citizens on board, in efforts to gain 'popular' support for war against Cuba

this was ~40 years pre 9/11

the top JCoS received Head of NATO after the fact .......... sweet ......... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Northwoods

they ****ed up all my goddamn cigars ...........

and 9/11 was done by a bunch of camel jockys with box cutters ........ LOL ............ who the **** believes that????????????????

I'm shocked by the lack of comments here from people who routinely label conspiracy theorists as 'crazy' & 'anti-American'.

No I'm not.

What the OP linked article failed to mention was in the released document on Oct 30, 1962 the President decided to "hold back Operation Mongoose for the time being" page 34

Seems the document was mostly a planning documentation for what "could" be implemented. It is pretty widely known the military and other such groups plan many various scenarios.

never happened. I image some would try and make an issue of it. The fact remains it was proposed but did not take place.
Guess some people never try and plan various alternatives.

This was more to bring up other false flag operations like operation gladio and other potential false flag operations. The government did not go ahead with this one, but it has gone ahead with other's (gladio) and who knows which other ones

And you thought what the US govt did (and planned to do) to dissidents was bad

IMO the lesson to be learned from this is that the government will go to great lengths to manipulate the public perception.

Consider this language from those files: "...it would be helpful in projecting the idea...". The language of the propagandist. More from that link, "We could develop a Communist Cuban terror campaign in Miami..."

There, in the early 60's, before the term "terror" was as popular as it is now, the government agents were plotting to develop a terror campaign.

I can agree that govt. can at times try to manipulate the public perception. What I find interesting on the quotes you focused on. As I recall many of Prager, DRGriffen, VeteransToday, etc. work uses much the same language (could, if, etc.).

From VeteransToday
"... may have been involved in the killing of President Kennedy"

When someone documents a plan, words like "could", "if", "would" are used.

Lesson to be learned is take anything you read in context, research, and validate what sources are saying. This goes for the govt. as well as non govt. sites that promote theories based on "what if".

What separates the two different uses of those words is whether the context in which they are used is from hindsight, or from foresight. Whether real and historical events, or hypothetical events?

In the case of the documents here on the thread, they were written as hypotheticals, mere proposals for discussion. That is the context in which the thread materials were written, as like Northwoods.

The way Gage and Prager and so many others write is from historical perspective. As far as facts, they provide useful information.

Northwoods and the JFK stuff were hypotheticals, just deceptive military plans with planes, as it were.

Gage, Balsamo, Prager and all the others have the luxury of working with empirical evidence.
