He broke open two 800 pound rated storm windows with THAT hammer?

Supposedly the police have said he filmed himself doing the shooting. That should clear up everything about the case...

Considering that they were found yesterday massively changing the timeline dont hold your breath waiting for the so-called experts to tell you a story about it, and stick to it, and be right.

Seems to be too much to expect from this current crap class of elites.

Ive heard a lot of it excused as the 'fog of war'...but so much doesnt make sense. How long does it take using a short hammer to bust through not one but two hotel windows storm rated at 800 pounds. Not just to break the glass, but to break it out entirely. And no one hears the first, let alone the second? No one sees the glass falling from below?

One of the best police departments with plenty of money highly trained in active shooter on the Strip.....had done I think I read 5 drills in a year, all or most with the feds guidance and help...ALLEGEDLY the PD and the hotel security work hand in glove (though it sure did not happen here)....... the best of the best brains were on the job......And this is what we get?

As diligently as authorities--local and federal plus a news hungry media--are looking for a motive, it is likely they will find one if such exists. They may already actually have one but aren't publicizing it so as not not interfere with warranted further investigation. If so, the story will come out. It is fascinating to me to read evidence we have now for things such as the Unabomber, the Kennedy Assassination, the Bay of Pigs, etc. that were not made easily available to the public at the time or that have been revealed only in more recent times.

We do know this was not a spontaneous act on the part of the shooter. It was planned with meticulous attention to detail over a period of some time with some apparent dry runs made in various places. Most of the guns were purchased fairly recently but over a period of time. So this was calculated, premeditated, and deliberate and not at all a crime of passion or impulse.

ISIS has taken credit, but there is no evidence pointing to ISIS. There are those who want to paint him as a liberal hater of conservatives and others who want to paint him as a conservative gun nut or whatever, but there is no evidence pointing to ideology or anything like that. Some religious want to associate it with godlessness and an emptiness that comes from that and I'm sure the anti-religionists would like to tie it to Christian or religious fanaticism, but no evidence has surfaced to support either theory.

But if the man was sociopathic and doing something like this purely for entertainment just to see if he could pull it off, we may never have a motive any more than we did in many other national tragedies that seem to have no special incentive but somebody just decided to make it happen.

Such people have no doubt always existed. And probably always will.

Id be interested to see if the law enforcement agencies have done their sound analysis and what their results were. We know the earliest police dispatch calls absolutely described 2 shooters. Thats law enforcement calling in to dispatch...not 911 calls.

I dont know. Im still comfortable with their being one shooter. But the one glaring thing that isnt a question...that is in fact impossible...is the location of his body after he shot himself. Simply impossible.

I'm not really qualified to judge the position or location of the body, but you raise a good point.

I'm no authority on forensic acoustics either, but I think the man makes a very convincing case, all things considered. Yes, civilians and police alike reported 2 shooters.
