Before I met you here Mike, I knew in general terms what a mass spectrometer is.

What's more important than that bit of trivia regarding Adams' work is the science related to ballistics and acoustics. Anybody that's been shot at knows that the bullet gets to the impact point before the sound of the rifle does. Old science there, at least for me.

The beauty of Adams' analysis with the digital equipment is that he applies that old science to the information gathered with new digital technology. Adams could not gather the input from every recording microphone at the zone of impact, but from what he has so far, we know there were at least 2 shooters. Maybe there were more. He did his analysis at home on a Sunday afternoon. Imagine what might be learned if some honest police investigators used their resources.

Permanently, though it does seem most everybody I know already doesn't believe the Mandalay Bay story. So many holes, so quickly, observed by so many, talked about so many.
