Cambridge Analytica is very likely the company behind Donald Dork's success in the recent election.

Whyzzat? Because CA (see here) has developed the analytical methods ("Data Mining") based upon Internet-contained information regarding individual preferences as indicated by what people do and do not do when employing the Internet.

Internet trackers know where you go and what you've done (in terms of spending, personal information preferences, etc.) When the information is gathered (which is not difficult), then it is easy enough for companies to know where consumer sentiments lie.

It worked for Donald Dork, who concentrated in three large states in the north, which swung the election for him.

The quicker people start using "blocker versions*" of their browser, the less probing eyes will know their most intimate details about their on-line lives. Such as how they spend, where they spend, what sites they prefer - and Facebook is a main supplier of personal preference information.

Be careful of what you print on the Internet. Somebody is always watching you and amassing the pertinent data of your behaviour on the Web.

It did wonders for Donald Dork (see here: Data Firm Says ‘Secret Sauce’ Aided Trump; Many Scoff) ...
