WASHINGTON - It has been almost a year since Democratic National Committee staffer Seth Rich was murdered in the nation's capital. There have been no solid answers about why he was killed until now.

Rich was shot and killed last July in Northwest D.C and police have suggested the killing in the District's Bloomingdale neighborhood was a botched robbery. However, online conspiracy theories have tied the murder to Rich's work at the DNC.

Just two months shy of the one-year anniversary of Rich's death, FOX 5 has learned there is new information that could prove these theorists right.

Rod Wheeler, a private investigator hired by the Rich family, suggests there is tangible evidence on Rich's laptop that confirms he was communicating with WikiLeaks prior to his death.​

Now, questions have been raised on why D.C. police, the lead agency on this murder investigation for the past ten months, have insisted this was a robbery gone bad when there appears to be no evidence to suggest that....

It doesn't make sense for the family of Seth Rich to hire Rod Wheeler, a former investigator and FoxNews commentator to investigate their sons death after telling FoxNews and the rightwing media to go to hell.

Well, it turns out they didn't hire him at all....and it's all lies....

Asked about the attention the new report received from right-leaning outlets, Brad Bauman, a representative for the Rich family, said the family condemned the attempt to politicize Rich's death.

"It's sad but unsurprising that a group of media outlets who have repeatedly lied to the American people would try and manipulate the legacy of a murder victim in order to forward their own political agenda," Bauman told Business Insider. "I think there is a special place in hell for people like that."

Rich's family said Wheeler's assertions were "unsubstantiated claims" and that they saw "no facts, we have seen no evidence, we have been approached with no emails and only learned about this when contacted by the press."

"Even if tomorrow an email was found, it is not a high enough bar of evidence to prove any interactions as emails can be altered, and we've seen that those interested in pushing conspiracies will stop at nothing to do so," the family said in a statement.

The family's statement continued:

"We are a family who is committed to facts, not fake evidence that surfaces every few months to fill the void and distract law enforcement and the general public from finding Seth's murderers. The services of the private investigator who spoke to press was offered to the Rich family and paid for by a third party, and contractually was barred from speaking to press or anyone outside of law enforcement or the family unless explicitly authorized by the family."

Or the DNC perhaps? Granted, the DNC and Hillary both have motive, but there's a few more things needed to conclude who are suspects in the crime.

I highly doubt that the media will bother to report this development in any significant way. Just have to look how they favored and colluded with camp Hillary during the campaign. The media is far too mindlessly focused on destroying the Trump presidency at all cost (mostly to themselves and the nation) to be side tracked by this story.

I highly doubt that the media will bother to report this development in any significant way. Just have to look how they favored and colluded with camp Hillary during the campaign. The media is far too mindlessly focused on destroying the Trump presidency at all cost (mostly to themselves and the nation) to be side tracked by this story.



Might just be time to do exactly that.

I heard Fox News isn't reporting on the latest revelations, about Russia, and that they prefer to focus on Hillary's emails. So now they are just making crap up.

I watched FoxNews this morning and they were reporting about Russia...especially Trump's revealing classified information. But this rehashing of an old debunked conspiracy theory suggests they might be losing relevance and viewers since their nemesis, Clinton is no longer in the limelight.

Maybe. Maybe not. Since it appears that the DNC WikiLeaks is traced back to Seth Rich, it certainly knocks down some of the credibility of 'It was the Russians' claims, showing it for what it really is, a dishonest DNC / Democrat narrative, enabled by, and given greater prominence than it deserved / deserves by the dishonest biased agenda driven Fake News media.
