Aaron Hernandez, Suicide or Prison Justice?

So, let's see. The guy gets acquitted of a double murder on Friday. His lawyers report good chances for a new trial on his prior conviction due to some apparent jury misconduct. But, the guy hangs himself less than a week later.

Reports indicate he was in a solitary situation. So, no other prisoners had any part in this supposed suicide. But, of course, prisoners are not the only people with access to Aaron.

Hey, it could be that he had issues, and that he decided to hang himself when he should have been celebrating. But, isn't it also likely that someone working in that prison system decided to mete out some jailhouse justice?

Well, I know one thing--Trump didn't do it. No way would he want the limelight taken off of him during today's White House visit by the Patriots.
 
If I was looking at life in jail with no possibility of parole, I'd kill myself too.

At least he saved the taxpayers some money. Good riddance

How do you even suggest someone(s) else committed the act when he was found barricaded in his cell?

Yeah, but he was looking at a reasonable chance for a new trail, and he just beat the odds by beating a double murder rap.

Even if odds of seeing an overturned conviction are long, one has to believe that Hernandez would have had high hopes for just such a turn of events before supposedly committing suicide---you know, since it was less than a week after he was found not guilty of double homicide.

I know one thing. I'm certainly not committing suicide 5 days after being found not guilty. Any rational person would see this as a huge turn of their luck, and give them new hope for walking out of that prison someday soon.

It would also serve as a good motive for someone to decide killing the SOB was the only answer.

And the time that it would take for a new trial and verdict, that is a lifetime to some in prison. We don't know how he was handling things on the inside and a day seems like 10 years to some inmates. Prison messes with some people's heads in a bad way. I'm not saying it's impossible that foul play was involved and this deserves investigating but for now I'm giving the prison the benefit of the doubt until they or someone can show differently.

If he had done this before the state spent millions on a meaningless trial, it would have been better riddance.

You want to blame this on someone, clearly. You could just save some time by just saying who. Detention officer since they're somewhat like cops? Did some Trump operative get in there, ya think?

My favorite pet theory is someone related to the two dead guys gave a CO a few grand to snuff the POS.
