We may have found out what happened to Iraq's WMD

Well, what do you need other than waging war against an evil dictator? Heck, FDR imprisoned Americans.

True, but imprisoning Japanese Americans does not necessarily make him a war criminal. A violator of constitutional provisions perhaps, but not a war criminal. In his favor, at least the US was in a legally declared war.

I'll grant you Truman, but it would be interesting to see you try to make a case for Eisenhower and FDR.

An excellent case can be made for every president of the US as a war criminal/purveyor of genocide/terrorist but since we have a definition of that from the post WWII Nuremberg/Tokyo War Crimes Tribunals, suffice it to say that all presidents since WWII have been war criminals.

"If the Nuremberg laws were applied, then every post-war American president would have been hanged. By violation of the Nuremberg laws I mean the same kind of crimes for which people were hanged in Nuremberg. And Nuremberg means Nuremberg and Tokyo. So first of all you’ve got to think back as to what people were hanged for at Nuremberg and Tokyo. And once you think back, the question doesn’t even require a moment’s waste of time." - Noam Chomsky

Chomsky might be right about that.
