Bowling Green massacre

Saturday Night Live has and endless source of material. They can fire the writer's because this stuff write's itself.

(Crossing fingers that there is a skit of a Trump, Spicer, and Conway meeting)

We all know Trump's voice is behind that puppet. Why are you pretending otherwise?
You know, you got me to thinking... and I can see where you are coming from.

So she is Pinocchio to his, Trump's, Geppetto, eh? Okay, well I'll be Jiminy Cricket!!!

And that naive guy that attempts so hard to get Pinocchio in all the trouble? Because from deep inside almost all the way to the surface of his painted wood Pinocchio wants to be good and a human. But this other boy, feeling knowledgeable, but in the stark reality totally lost in this very cruel world, tries to lead the good Pinocchio astray. Even got him to make bad choices that turned the naive boy and Pinocchio right into a donkey...

A donkey, eh? Yes, certainly hard for all of us to miss the symbolism there.

And the moral of the story? Every American can wish upon their favorite reality star, Makes no difference which race, color, creed or gender they are...

I will also amend the song to say that no wish is too extreme … if it is moral and good. Wishing for a pox upon Trump ain't gonna get 'er done.

I believe she misspoke as opposed to "making the whole thing up" Something DID happen. She probably should have said "the planned massacre" by 2 men who were mistakenly admitted to the US as Iraq refugees, who are now in prison.

I think people like to skip over the fact that they were mistakenly admitted as refugees part, and focus on her mistake.

what a big bag of nothing.

she is right about one thing. media exposure was nowhere the same.

this event she lied about, misspoke about or whatever was the catalyst for a six month shut down on the necessary paperwork for travel to this country for plenty of Muslims. families were most definitely kept apart over those executive actions, but you can be damn sure the media didn't' focus on it in an attempt to demonize the decision maker.

Trump is the President. T-R-U-M-P. Not Obama. Obama's just a retired public servant. Your boy Donald is front and center because he wanted to be and you helped put him there. Now people are going to be criticizing President Trump and his supporters look a little silly saying, "But but Obama...!" or "But but Hillary!..."
Oh come on now, its just been three weeks so far.

The O bomb tried to use GW to blame for his own failings almost his entire 8 years, T-R-U-M-P surely gets at least his first two years, most certainly gets these last three weeks.

What a laugh. :lamo

But it's not like that, is it. It's not Trumpanzees blaming Trumps problems on Obama, it;s Trumpanzees saying, "But Obama was just as bad!"
But Trump's a new kind of bad. He lies, outright, and bad-mouths his country to make Putin look less evil.. He says the American electoral system is corrupt and the American intelligence services are like the Nazis and the American news media are crooked and anything negative about him is a lie. He personally attacks a federal judge and alienates close allies with boorish behaviour. And that's so far.

Awwww.

Seems to me he is hitting right where he needs to hit, striking the right balance between strength and saying what needs be said after 8 years of utter BS.

And had you not noticed before, Trump might exaggerate, sure, but he has turned the bright spotlight on a media out of control yet under the control of the liberal/leftist agenda, he has backed away from the war mongering of, especially, the her thunderthigness, Madamn almost President in a bizarro world the libs were cozying up to giving our traditions and culture the big middle finger while letting America rust. Then add attempted injury to insult by inviting in so many threats.

I mean sweet Jesus, bat crazy and suicidal too boot. Trump calls it like he sees it, and he sees it more like I SEE IT. We did have 8 years of blinders, aspersion and bigot callers, race baiting, lying straight to our faces with a straight face knowing they were lying [ so completely and utterly disingenuous ]... I think he, Trump, was more calling out the political appointees in these various, and one specific, intelligence agencies... and he was absolutely correct. And before you fall into the fetal position on Trump's positions on judges, read a little of the bias from the left of, say, a Sotomayor on how she feels judges should think regarding race and heritage.

Despite the left having its panties in a twist, the listing to the left ship of state is being righted against the wrongs the left perpetrated. Get used to it, probably got another 413 weeks, similar to these last three, still up ahead. I would say it should be enough to destroy the Democrat Party in the US...

But hell, that is the one good thing that the O bomb pretty much did for us already.

Well, I don't have a dog in the hunt but looks to me like he's about to do more damage to the Republican party than the Democrats. Somebody better get that guy reined in soon or there's going to be big changes come midterms. Most people voted against him, even with a lot sitting it out and if he continues to piss people off for the joy of it he's going to sabotage his own party. You saw how it can work, don't think it can't work the same in the other direction. It's politics- nothing is ever settled when there's another election coming up.
In the meantime, he's fun to watch.

I will start where we have agreement. Yes, after boring cold fish, the O bomb, we have energy, up beat and exuded... he is actually trying to create an environment where people want to work, where their cause is not forgotten, whitewashed over so that other, often less desireous, certainly less deserving, get served seemingly first.

If he straightens out the VA, if, and it seems like he has the teams in place to do so, we start getting trade deals that go our way, if American firms and money come back onshore, if he takes the grinder to the rust belt and shines it up, if he makes inroads leading to paths out of the depths of despair of our urban nightmares... well, we will see. If he cannot, again, I agree, there will be changes made at midterms.

While the O bomb couldn't be bothered to lift a finger, much less conduct a search to find his own magic wand to wave, Trump is all about getting it done. Trump is far from setting himself up to be a war time president, though it could happen, happened to the O bomb slding out of one, escalating to no effect except more death another, leading from behind in another where we created atmospheric failed state in a region that is already very unstable with presidential missteps in Iraq, with Iran, with Israel and, god god, with Syria [ added bonus:Russia]... Hell, TRUMP wants his name in blinking lights on the Marquee in the Pantheon of Presidents.

Right up there with Washington, Lincoln, Truman, Eisenhower and Reagan. At this point he has a way better chance than the O bomb, who is circling the white porcelin in the rest room far from that Pantheon. He might be a floater, if he is lucky...but I doubt it. Not after ushering in TRUMP.

The R's own Trumpism now. And people are watching. In fact, I've never seen people so engaged as they are now. Midterms are going to see a high turnout.

You are dishonestly claiming that she misspoke. Misspeaking would be like Obama saying 57 states. This is not misspeaking. This is making up a terrorist attack and then trying to use the falsehood as political attack. Seems to me that the only one who is posting a load of garbage here, is you.

It is not misspoke at all. It was deliberate. She used the same words in an interview in Cosmopolitan on Jan 29th.

Maybe she honestly thought there was a massacre in Bowling Green. It's possible. Not the brightest bulbs in the chandelier, that bunch.

Im confused.

Conway is correct about a few things: there were two Bowling Green men arrested for terrorism; they were Iraqis who had come to the U.S. through a refugee resettlement program; and their story did prompt then-President Obama to slow or suspend Iraqi-refugee immigration for around six months. But there are a few other key things to keep in mind about this Bowling Green "terrorist plot"...

So, she was right. The WaPO even changed their assessment to give her the benefit of the doubt. Why are you all acting like she intentionally made up a terrorist massacre when there is no evidence supporting this? She simply referenced two Iraqi refugees who helped undercover FBI pull off fake support to terrorists in order to support the argument that refugees can turn into terrorists.

....because there was never a massacre? No one died. At all. She was most definitely not correct.

Why are we acting like she made up a massacre? Because she literally lied and made up a massacre which never happened.

What exactly is confusing you about this?

Let us pause for a moment of alternative silence for the victims of this brutal massacre.

I've set up a fund for the surviving families, PM me if you're interested in contributing. Cash only please.

edit: Utility Man beat me to it ;-;
