Chemical Warfare with “Natural Flavor”

What are companies like Givaudan doing to our food supply? It might be ingenious chemical wizardry to them. But I call it WARFARE. Is it too far to say they are using chemical warfare to slowly kill us one by one…? Let’s look at the definition of Chemical Warfare….”warfare using chemical agents to kill or injure or incapacitate the enemy.” This really could be true. The uninformed public is the enemy, getting injured and incapacitated – one tastebud at a time.

The natural and artificial chemicals that flavor manufactures engineer are contributing to what David Kessler (former head of the FDA) calls a “food carnival” in your mouth. The inability to stop eating because the flavors they have synthesized trick your mind into wanting more and more. They don’t want you to have the full essence of the strawberry – they want you to only experience the best 1 millionth part of the taste – so you get “addicted” and keep having to go back for more and more, searching continuously for gratification – eating more of that product which in turns fills Big Food Companies pockets. The Big Food Companies are “hijacking” your taste buds one by one.

I heard that farmers are actually spraying a liquid that contains MSG, or those tasty Natchral Flavorin's on produce when it's still growing in the field. Have you heard that?

The biggest flavoring used industry wide is msg, which by the way is actually A natural flavor. Ot occurs naturally in potatoes and tomatoes.

You use the word "processed" as a bugaboo. But everything's processed to some degree. Processing by itself is not necessarily a bad thing. Using the word willy-nilly as a wedge isn't much different from noting that the dihydrogen monoxide used in most commercial baked goods is also used to cool nuclear reactors.

Why don't you actually go to commercial farms and see what goes on the fields before and after the planting of crops.

Chemicals start at the beginning of the food chain.

The high cost of organic food severely hinders organic industry growth.

The current failures of Whole Foods perfectly reflects the problems.

Educate yourself.

if you want to trust as "good" any food that comes in a box or jar have at it. The rest of the forum can read the original article and decide for themselves.

Actually I try to stick to home grown or other organic foods, vege, fruit or meats, good food does not need enhancing.
