How about this theory as to why Director Comey backed down their investigation before the election...

The FBI will wait until Trump or Clinton take office to prevent Obama from pardoning Hillary. You know this topic has to have come up in FBI meetings.

I doubted from the beginning that Comey has a conscience, or that his conscience caused him to re-open the Hillary thingy. The cynical view was correct--it was political theater meant to entertain the masses. Let's give 'em something to talk about. :mrgreen:

Once Hillary is in office there's no need to pardon her, she can only be removed by impeachment.
 
No evidence of criminality..........Twice. Trump can only dream of such an endorsement.
 
Last week Comely was the Trump supporters and cons superhero. This week he's the devil...lol

After Trump loses and Wikileaks hacks Trumps emails and people see what a monster and con man he really is, then Assange will be a devil to the far right too.

I'm gonna give Comey the benefit of the doubt here. I don't think hes political or trying to tip the scales one way or the other. I thin hes a guy who was put in a very unenviable position and tried to do the best he could with it.

That's the entire point. If Comey brought charges NOW, then Obama could pardon her and everything would go away permanently. But if she takes office and Obama is out, then the charges could still be used against her. She couldn't pardon herself.

Of course, the issue is most probably, there isn't evidence for anything. But hey, that's why this got posted in the CT forum!

A president can only be removed by impeachment. After she takes office, the charges don't matter anymore because it's up to Congress to decide about removing her, not the FBI.

And since our congress is owned by the same people who own Hillary who in their right mind thinks she will be brought to justice. She is above the law as long as she does the biding of the rich and powerful that put her in office.

Section 3 of Article I: "Judgment in Cases of Impeachment shall not extend further than to removal from Office, and disqualification to hold and enjoy any Office of honor, Trust, or Profit under the United States; but the Party convicted shall nevertheless be liable and subject to Indictment, Trial, Judgment and Punishment, according to Law."

Congress removes her, but if there's a criminal case, she's still on the hook for it.
 
My guess is that the vast majority, if not all, of the emails found on the laptop are simply the other end of emails that the FBI has already reviewed and made a determination on, hence why I said they would probably do nothing. Will the Repubs trying going down this path several more times, of-course they will, so we will end up with more of the same in Washington, witch hunts at tax payer expense while little else gets done. Just more of the same old same.
