One Day Biden Declares Cyber War, Next Day Assange Is Cut Off From Internet. Hmmm…

Call me a conspiracy theorist, but it seems like a series of events during the last couple of days are related.
First, you have the Democrats calling Assange a puppet of Putin.
Then you have Vice President Joe Biden calling for an offensive cyber war against “Russia”.
Mysteriously, the next day, Julian Assange’s Internet connection gets severed:

But Clinton is not afraid of Wikileaks? The article goes on and says the information will still get out. Nice try, no cigar.

Re: Running Scared

My internet cut off for awhile last night. Clearly the government thinks I am Russian...

You need to invest in some tinfoil, so the guberment can't track you.

Whether anyone is afraid or not should have no bearing on the decision. Can you not comprehend how cutting off the internet to a foreigner who is acting with a foreign government to affect the outcome of our election through illegal means is a good idea regardless? If he has evidence Hillary or the DNC committed a crime or something, come out with it, otherwise I see no problem with simple and effective measures like this.

It won't stop the information from coming out. And other countries actions have always affected our elections in many ways. Are you trying to say the way Iran was handled won't change some votes. No, the establishment elites are terrified and have met their match in manipulating peoples thoughts on politics and corruption.

Re: Running Scared

This isn't breaking news. And it belongs in the conspiracy forum where crap like this belongs.

Re: Running Scared

As I said in another thread: remove the speculation and ct from the last month alone, and 7/8ths of this forum is culled in an instant.

The release of the Wikileaks material will happen. That is not a CT, that is a fact. And it just might change the election and put some people in jail.

The cutting off of Assange's internet is not a CT, it is a fact. Do you know the difference?

And I don't see mod by your name.

1. It will hinder his abilities and make it more difficult for him. Even if it doesn't cripple him, it's still a positive.

2. "other countries have always affected out elections in many ways" doesn't mean that you should be ok with them hacking one of our political parties and a candidate and then releasing info with the purpose of ****ing with our election.

I can't believe I'm even asking this question, sigh....

Do you understand the difference between, lets say, a foreign president endorsing a presidential candidate of ours VS that same foreign president using hackers to illegally obtain private data from a candidate and party and then release said data, while possibly adding in false info to make them look worse than they really are, with the intent of getting a more favorable candidate for them in to office? Please tell me that you understand they are different and that just because it's ok for that president to say out loud that he prefers one of those candidates and endorse one, that it doesn't make it ok for him to do the latter part illegally? Please?

Well, it is probably. Whether it is the gubment, or a problem at the ISP, we do not know. The conspiricy theory starts in when you assume the gubment is at fault for an internet outage. I mean, lord knows my internet NEVER goes out when the gubment does not interfere...

Of course it is true! Putin's people cut Assange's internet to undermine trust in the US.

You do realize most conspiracy theories are more about why something happened than it is that it happened.

For instance - The conspiracy theory isn't that the attacks happened on September 11th, just like in this case the conspiracy theory isn't that his internet went out. I think you should be able to take it from there.

The news specifically stated that a "State Actor" is responsible for Assange's disconnect. Not an ISP, a state actor. The State is afraid of the truth that Assange releases. I think it was William Colby (CIA) that stated a "successful media campaign would be when what everyone believes to be the truth is actually a lie." Assange is a thorn in the side of that campaign.

Well, that is what Wikileaks says:

Julian Assange's internet link has been intentionally severed by a state party. We have activated the appropriate contingency plans

I do believe that given their credibility this needs to be treated like news.

Which "state"

Maybe the Ecuadorian embassy in London intentionally shut off internet access....

More news:

Social Cues is a daily feature on what's trending among your friends and followers. Here's what people are talking about Monday morning on Facebook and Twitter:

Julian Assange: According to a WikiLeaks tweet, Assange's "internet link has been intentionally severed by a state party." Assange's name was the top trending topic on Facebook, with more than 1 million people talking about him and the incident. On Twitter, #FreeJulian was a top trend, with accusations that the US government is responsible for his lost internet access.

Looks to me like Coldjoint is right on target.

The only evidence for the claim is Assange/wikileaks. It's unclear how they would know who, and if a "state" which "state," cut off the internet.

Sounds like a mission for journalists.

Are there any to be found?

Re: Running Scared

May be the Kremlin. Folks like Assange go from an asset to a liability after they know too much.
