Did Hillary Have a Hidden Teleprompter at the Debate?

EDIT: They were wearing lapel mikes so she must have been cheating some other way... we don't know what that was yet... ;<]

Well I just went through the debate video again and I noticed she looked down at her podium many times when it was her turn to respond to Trump. If there was nothing there, that seems an unnecessary (oft repeated) action.

P.S. For those who post a knee-jerk reaction, please note that this IS the "Conspiracy Theory" forum.

I am not posting it as gospel. I just think it's an interesting possible "gotcha" situation, if it ever turns out to be true.

I think your hunch about what she was up to is right.

She was looking at her notes. No, they aren't allowed to bring notes with them but they are permitted to take notes once the debate begins. Debaters will often use the time while their opponent talks to write down their bullet points for when it is their turn to respond. They have done this in all the debates for as long as I can remember.

Here's the other part, there was no new information. Why the hell would either one of them need to cheat? Seriously. There was NOTHING of real substance in the "debate", which was actually nothing more than a continuation of he said/she said. Two verrrrrrrrrrrrry weak candidates trying to bitch slap each other.

Trump flogged his business experience; tough on crime talk; "you're gonna love it"; "a beautiful thing"; "wrong"; love black people; jobs.

Hillary reminded us, again, about her 30 years of government service except it was 12 years of government "service", not 30; "i have a plan"; "back seat to nobody"; love black people; jobs.

I agree. They never really listen to each other.

But we do need to get a definitive answer to "the wire".

You do realize that to take notes about what some one is saying, you have to actually listen to what they say?

And there is a definitive answer to "the wire". They wore lapel mics.

So you have a conclusion you want to believe, and are desperately searching for evidence to make it true, because since you want it to be true, it much be.

I think it's sad that Trump is such a debilitated cocaine addict. There's video of him sniffing and wiping his nose throughout the debate.

Proof of cocaine use please... thnx.

There was a guy as the back of the studio with a direct feed from google, firing the answers onto Hillary's retina with an invisible laser...

Proof of cocaine use please... thnx.

Proof? Why should I have to give proof of Trump's cocaine use when this silliness about Hillary looking down at notes and being electronically wired have absolutely zero proof?

This isn't my standard, mind you. This is the standard of those making the unfounded, unproven, made up from whole cloth accusations I mentioned above. The difference is, is that I know my accusation is silly and without basis in reality. Or maybe it's just not always fun to be the sober guy at a party where everyone else is drunk out of their gourd.

I was wandering YouTube again and found several videos about a possible teleprompter being used by Hillary during the first debate.

Here is one of the better organized video examples:

Perhaps Hillary appeared somewhat better informed on some topics, and did so much better than expected because someone off-stage was helping her out?

What do you think?

I think supplying Trump with a crackling mic for the debate is really cool in a lowlife kind of way.

Nothing that Hillary was asked was something that anyone (Not even myself, and I haven't been in politics for 30 years) needed help with. The only person who could have benefited from a teleprompter on Monday was Trump.

Proof? Why should I. ... I know my accusation is ... without basis in reality

So, you admit you were dishonest? At least you man up about that, I guess.

Nothing Trump was asked was anything that anyone would need help with. That he could not hit the softballs is on no one but him.

I'll be impressed when you start holding others to the same standard.

Do you have evidence that I don't do that already?

You also don't deny you were dishonest... ;)
