Michelle Obama Knows Obama Was Born In Kenya - HER OWN WORDS!!!

So how come nobody was "skeptical of said birth nationality" when it was, say, any of the dozens of white guys who were running for president over years?"

So you can have the privilege of crying 'racist' about it?

You mean possible presidential candidates like McCain, Hamilton (OK, I admit Hamilton never ran for office but he was constantly considered a Creole and unfit for American office) and Ted Cruz? You know, this birther movement isn't so much about BO as it is Article 2 Section 1 of The Constitution.

All of the people you mentioned were actually born outside of the United States. Obama was not. Also, nobody continued to harp on the idea for 8 years with any of those people.

Ask Blumenthal

Well, I haven't seen it. He needs to hold a press conference, release it to the public, and have a team of experts fly to New York to investigate.

I didn't acknowledge that at all. What I said was that unthinking, race obsessed liberals believe it was because he was black, but that's just typical liberal BS designed to pander to black fear.

No, it was almost certainly because he was black. It's not liberal bs at all.

And before you go whining about how it's "pandering to black fear" perhaps you should examine why exactly the behavior of people like you make it such a convincing theory.

So you can have the privilege of crying 'racist' about it?

Because apparently if it's a black guy running for office, then, by God, he must be a foreigner and not a true American. Or at least that's how the birther think, if you can call that bull**** thinking.

Why don't you spell it out for me. Or do you not have the guts?

Black people, like anybody else, don't like it when random strangers disparage themselves, their friends, families and community at large.

There was never any whining about "well, is he actually an American" bull**** until a African American was running for president.

African Americans noticed it; and then they noticed the unending stream of pure hate certain parts of the populace have been spewing for the past eight years. It's unsuprising they don't listen to those same individuals when they turn around and, seeking their own political power, pretend to be "helping" African Americans.

Meh. No telling how some people think to arrive at some of their conclusions.

That's because there was no uncertainty about the birthplace of any other presidential candidate. You see color as the motivation because like every good liberal, you are obsessed with skin color. There are lots of things that happen for the first time in politics.

That might make some sense if blacks ever split their votes among the two parties. They don't. Every election democrats play the race card. This is just latest occurrence. Liberals know that if they ever lose their grip on the black vote, they are out of power for a generation. So they lie and they smear and they make every issue a racial issue. This is no different. This issue has nothing to do with race. Had Cruz won the nomination, dems would be raising his eligibility as well. Would that make liberals racist against Hispanics?

There was no uncertainty here either. It was made up completely out of thin air. It wasn't like Obama had suddenly materialized--- he'd been a politician at state level before.

African Americans don't split their vote in large part because Republicans do the exact same thing, only they "pander" to rural whites, and the message sent out to those voters often offends African Americans.

No, skeptical of Obama's birth nationality. And with something as important as this, fully within their rights to be skeptical.

Well, no one had documented proof that he was an American.

They may have been of the opinion that Obama was an American, but there was no documented proof that he was an American. Not until his birth certificate was produced.

No, you believed Obama was American, there was no way you could have possibly known until he released his birth certificate. And that belief was based solely on politics, not that you are somehow more sane than others.

BS

On June 12, 2008, Obama's campaign responded to the rumors by posting an image of Obama's birth certificate on the "Fight The Smears" website.[37][38]

The image is a scan of a laser-printed document obtained from and certified by the Hawaii Department of Health on June 6, 2007. It is a "Certification of Live Birth", sometimes referred to as a short form birth certificate, and contains less information than the longer "Certificate of Live Birth", which Hawaii no longer issues.[39][40]

His birth certificate was released 5 months before the election. Only crazies consider(ed) the short form to be a forgery.

By claiming "oh, there wasn't documented proof", are you claiming the short form is a forgery? Or do you retract your claim.

Being natural born isn't a qualification for being a 'politician at state level.'

The production of the short form what what I was referring to. For me, once that was produced, it ended the controversy.

His mother was a natural born US citizen, so regardless of where Obama was born, he was eligible to become president. So it was settled WAAAAYYY before he ran for any office.

Regardless of where Obama was born?

Wrong.

That is one of the arguments made against him had he not been born in the US.
His mother's Citizenship would not have conferred NBC status let alone basic citizenship status upon him
She did not meet the residential qualifications to be able to pass citizenship on.

Continued to harp for 8 years from 2011? See, 8 years from 2011, the year BO provided his Hawaiian birth certificate and definitively proved he was born in the US, would be 2019... If BO had provided his Hawaiian birth certificate when the situation arose, there wouldn't be any '8 year harping' (your words) about BO's place of birth.

Side note: Do dems harp about Trump's tax returns? What does anyone really know about Trump's tax returns? Are you gonna take Trump's word on his taxes like you took BO's on his place of birth? Why or why not?
What's the dems' new movement on Trump's taxes? The tax returner movement???

POLITICS.

Nor is it a qualification for cabinet. Alex Hamilton, for sure, wasn't naturally born. Henry Kissinger?
Naturally born is a qualification only for presidential candidates.

Yet, Cruz's mother did??? How strange.

Wonder where people got the idea he was born in Kenya? Hmmm

Now would any of u Libs tell people your wifes or husbands homeland was Warsaw Poland if they were born in the USA?

Yes or No

Good grief let it die off already.

Lets see Trump's returns. At a press conference on big screens. And send investigators to the IRS to make sure they're real. (BTW, whatever happened with the investigators Trump was going to send to Hawaii?). We'll also see if his returns are still an issue after he gets elected (IF he gets elected).

And there was harping over Obama's place of birth since 2008. You can put your head in the sand and pretend it wasn't until 2011 if you want to, but you're only fooling yourself

Good grief let it die off already.

As we've heard here on these very forums, it only came up again because Hillary is desperate. Who knew volsrock was a closet Hillary supporter?

You have the right to believe the sky is made of cheese but you're still a ****in moron if you do.
