WW3 Scenario: U.S. President Donald J. Trump

This might not be the best place for this, but say Donald Trump becomes our next President (I don't think he will), what would a Third World War look like with him as CNC?

We know he wants to:
1 - Build a Wall between the U.S. and Mexico, possibly utilizing military force to force them to pay for it.
2 - Withdraw the U.S. from NATO, and forge an alliance with Russia.
3 - Threatens China and Arabic countries.

[Feel free to add to this list, btw]

So with what we know, how would WW3 look with Donald Trump as an Authoritarian ethno-nationalist President in an alliance with Russian President Vladimir Putin against NATO?
 
1.Building a wall then giving the Mexican government the bill, if they refuse start to impose economic sanctions on them... hardly Armageddon
2.Since when has he said the US should withdraw from NATO? He said NATO needs to change with the times and the US needs to secure a better deal within NATO. He wants to be friendly with a nuclear super power... hardly WW3.
3.Threatens China?! Oh yes I hope he does threaten China's trade dominance which takes away US jobs! Arabic countries? You mean Iran and disgusting monarchies like Saudi Arabia... wow.


I would feel more secure with Trump being president than anyone else. Relations with Russia would dramatically improve.

my concern is that he'll keep up this blindness to nuance, and then his temper and lack of fitness for office will blunder us into something very serious. i mean, look at the unintended consequences of Bush's policies. Bush was actually somewhat fit for office. Trump isn't. that's alarming, and it's real life alarming, not CT alarming.

Jesus Christ, man. Why does everything have to be a goddamn fight with you? I started this thread to have fun imagining (however unlikely) WW3 scenarios involving President Trump good grief here we go.

I firmly believe that Trump truly does love the USA and it's people, and that he has nothing but the best interest of America in his heart..

WWIII would not happen under Trump because they would all be scared ****less..

I think a civil war is more likely. Avoid your local college campuses on election day just in case.

It is probably yet too early for any country or group thereof to attempt to wage war with the US front on.but a neophyte to foreign policy and security could more easily misstep and cause a world war than a routinier. A populist could easily talk us right into it.

But to contemplate a specific situation is probably a waste as there are unlimited different scenarios.

Possibly, but unlikely. I don't think it would be unique to a Trump-Caused civil war though if it happened. There are a lot of countries that want to make plays, but don't because of fear of retaliation from America. With the US being suppressed in an internal conflict, it would give countries like China and Russia the perfect distraction, and therefore opportunity to reclaim land they think is rightfully their's. America wouldn't be in any position to do anything, and any other country would be to afraid or incapable of doing anything. So I would expect it to go down rather silently, and those regions to be annexed without any foreign opposition.

The real threats would probably be in the form of ISIS who would probably seek to expand and increase domestic terrorism, and Iran and North Korea. Korea would probably have a civil war, and Iran would probably get annihilated by Israel.

Susan Sarandon the long time radical leftist said on a recent interview aired on 03/29/16 she may vote for Trump. As far as NATO goes it is as effective in world power as out local PTA.
Not worried about China as it will implode in the not to distant future.
Saudi is toying with it's opposition forces and could go up in flames if they don't make major changes soon.
As for Trump he is not the ignorant swine that GWB was with his cabinet of pigs so we will survive, not to worry.
