Hi, I am not new here.

I apparently was supposed to say hello or introduce myself almost a year ago when I joined this forum. This digital failure of social graces was keeping me up at night, causing me some sort of anxiety that facilitated the need for me to find a safe space. My snowflake mentality just couldn't handle the stress that my own action caused, and so I joined DPA (Debate Politics Anonymous for those who are uneducated) and joined their 12 step program. My mentor, Bob, told me to just take baby steps and move toward my goals, in order to better join digital society once again.

And so I offer my closure, my final step of absolution to the forum -

I celebrate DP with my 100th post in the "Come in and say Hi" section. Drum roll please...

P.S. - Do I finally get all of my DP swag that I was never promised?

Well now, if you're fully digitized, the swag wil be unnecessary, but in expectation of kinks, severe bends, abberations, or severe severing of the glass pipes that move thee hither and yon, a nice aluminum hat could come in handy. Hi there! Go with the flow.

I apparently will never be an executive. About 1 year, 100 posts. At that rate I will have to live to be 148 to get that key.

Is an aluminum hat an upgrade or a downgrade from tin foil? I am not a big fan of status symbols, but would I like to know the answer from a purely scientific perspective.

It be a mite lighter than tin. I'm not certain what resonant frequencies are rejected or absorbed, but you could line the aluminum with tin and improve impact resistance. It is unknown at this time if the aesthetics would allow rubbing shouldrers with the hoy polloi of high fashion, but sacrifices mist be made to pragmatism, don't ya' know? It's similar to a down comforter. I mean, where do they find all those psychiatrists and psychologists that spread warm fuzzies, to comfort all those people that are feeling down. Probably becasue they forgot their aluminum hats, eh?
