Hello everyone and happy new year.

As you can see I'm a pesky communist. I'm part of the ultraleft tradition of communism, contemporarily situated within communisation theory, itself a set of ideas that came from the French and Italian left communist movement of the 60s and 70s. Just to clarify, I'm anti-Bolshevik so no tarring me with the Stalin, Mao feathers.

I look forward to disagreeing with you all robustly.

Ah, so you are one of the 'good' communists then. I will be sure not to lump you in with all the fascists who wish not to be tarred with Hitler and Mussolini feathers.

Evidently from your perspective a good communist doesn't exist, so seems like a bizarre thing to say. Communism isn't remotely similar to fascism. I know that's difficult to process, but I'm here now, I can help you.

But if there are good communists, there must be good fascists too, no? But yes, there is a difference between communists and fascists, communist have far more blood on their hands.

But if there are good kindergarten teachers, there must be good mass murderers too, no?

I don't know what you mean by good or bad. In most cases terming things in that way is usually completely meaningless.

That is the logical fallacy. The comparison between communist and fascist is a comparison between two ruthless dictatorships. Your comparison between the teacher and the mass murderer is just idiocy.

I don't use terms like "good" or "bad." They're so relative they're practically meaningless. I pointed that out because I want people to try and see beyond communist theory as the practices of two authoritarians.

Communism is about abolishing wage-labour so that the production of our lives is a social activity and not exploited labour. I think after 250 years of capitalism, that's far from kooky.

So in your mind there have been no deaths as a result of a capitalist system of economics? What about the slave trade? A billion people are currently starving in a world over-abundant with food? Of those billion 36 million will die every year as a result of starvation. 3.1 million of them will be children. That's 6 holocausts a year. Every year millions of people die because they don't have enough food to eat in a world where food is destroyed because it's not eaten. You're right, that is stupid. In fact it's an atrocity, brought about by the inefficiency, illogicality and brutal indifference of capitalism.

My sources are from the UN and poverty charities if you want to look up the statistics.

No... ruthless dictatorships are ruthless dictatorships. We've had ruthless dictatorships that were labeled "communist" or "fascist" but that doesn't re-define what those terms mean.

In any case, the OP was clear in his post by explaining that he was not referring to the Bolshevik's vision of "communism", so it's not fair for you to then assert the Bolshevik's vision of "communism" as what they were endorsing.

don't worry; capitalism is dying a ragged, slow death, as is being made evident by the current massive income disparity that is percentage wise approaching 1929 pre-CRASH levels.

capitalism was always about foisting a ruse upon the public in an attempt to make them believe they could gain the same 'things' the rich have obtained, all while the efforts the masses go through to obtain the same riches, further enrich the wealthiest.

capitalism is just a fancy pyramid scheme that works better than most others, yet the end result is still the same: a tiny fraction of ultra rich & a massive amount of poor serfs ................ serfs with a job, if they are lucky ...........

Seemingly ever other new commie who shows up here is a leftcom. Not that I'm complaining though it's good to have any new left wingers to help move the overton window a bit here
