Hello, Blkdirt Farmer here.

As you might guess I am a farmer by profession. Some were out there in the great upper Midwest region..

I am an active member of my County Republican party, and have participated at district and State levels as well.

In fact I am one of the most "deplorable' people you may ever get to know... I believe in American and Americans FIRST. :2wave:

I guess I don't want any confusion lol..

I am tolerant of all ideas if they are good ones. Seems to me there is a huge lack of tolerance on both sides of the isle about now. Do you agree?

We are now in fact more polarized as a nation than perhaps we have ever been. I am not proud of that either. I wish it were not so true. Divided we fail.

My God, the division is almost frightening at times. It almost seems to me that the two sides of the aisle can't even agree on the fundamental state of reality anymore.

And yes it is frightening. Especially in places like this, were there is no face to face interaction. We tend to say a lot more than we would in person, on a forum. We can not see the facial expressions of the people we are addressing. This makes it easy to get carried away with emotional content, hate if you like...

Sadly this becomes it's own "reality" of how we interact. I find it rather disgraceful from what I was taught as a young boy. "if you can not say something good about some one, don't say anything at all".....

All this anonymity makes it more likely that you'll get an accurate picture of what your opponent thinks, and that picture isn't always very pretty. Regardless, I find that it takes two to tango - if someone else insults your intelligence or accuses you of having low morals, you still have the high ground until you stoop to their level. I can't say I haven't ended up making a petty fool of myself before, but I do usually try to be respectful and serious in a debate.

Yes Jesse I see your point as well. We get the unabashed view from the soul if you will.... and your right it isn't pretty as some one will see..

And two to tango is correct as well. Hopefully in my time here I don't lower myself to such a place. I would how ever be a liar if I told you I haven't gone there before. Abstention from that behavior is some thing to keep in mind.
