Good evening DP!
This is my first post here, I just wanted to say hello to everyone before I join in the discussions on the board. I'm a fairly modern fellow and like most Americans in 2017 (IMO) I hold a lot of classically liberal views and opinions. This should not be taken to mean that I hold leftist in high regard because I draw a distinction between a "liberal" and a "leftist" but that will become obvious soon enough. Of course being a classical liberal I hold some fairly conservative ideas too. This is not to say I hold rightest in high regard either.
This forum was recommended to me by a friend as a place that was well moderated. So I'm going to take to heart something I read about in the rules section. Since the strong moderation is why I am trying out participation at DP? I'm going to follow the suggestion that if I see something that I know is wrong or questionable, I'm going to report it. And of course try to avoid causing my own post to be reported for moderation. Though I might slip up from time to time. Just a fair warning!
I'm looking forward to diving into participation. I think. Check back with me in a few days or weeks. :2wave:
