I represent a group of people considering a move to a new home. We like to trade insults with few restrictions. Is there a place here where such is allowed? I saw a reference to a "Basement." If it is such a place, how do I find it?
 
Basement? Nope, never heard of it. Definitely don't know anything about that.

Here's an idea. Drop the attitude. If you are looking for a place where you can insult people go activate a twitter account, leave here, and don't come back. If you want to debate politics, welcome. That's the best answer you are going to get.

I want to debate politics without having to do it with my pinkie extended or to be worrying about whether I'm going to offend the tender sensibilities of some smug sissy. I'm guessing you're guessing I'm an over-compensating rightard. Actually, I'm a mean liberal.

Well...this is a "Debate" forum. That means arguing issues of interest or concern in hopes or enlightening, informing, and or convincing others by discourse.

That seldom works well when it is just a bunch of logical fallacies, (especially ad hominem's) being thrown out just to see who can score points.

There is a Basement. People who have posted over 250 posts are automatically members. You can go down there and call people names all you want. They, on the other hand, have the option to ignore this. :shrug:

I believe that I can say quite assuredly that Debate Politics is probably not for you. I don't care what your political lean is. People acting like a jerk come in many different flavors.
