Hello, my name is Anthony and I'm new to the forums so I'll pop in and add a few things about myself.
I'm 24 years old, a bank teller, and a college grad with a major in business administration. Not much else I can say about myself outside of I live in Pennsylvania. For the most part, my beliefs and views tend towards centrism with perhaps some libertarian in the mix when it comes to fiscal matters. Religiously, I'm an atheist but my personal philosophy has always been one of respect and tolerance because I do think religion can do good when it's not taken to the extreme. From the way I look at it; if what you believe in got you to where you are, you're happy with it, and it got you through the worst times of your life then I don't feel I have the right to tell you what to believe. In my personal life, I've never felt the need or inclination to believe in a god for several reasons of my own.
I respect ideas and I try hard to treat them fairly even if I hate the person or source from which the idea originated, whether it be conservative or liberal thought. If respect is shown to me and my ideas, I will happily reciprocate it in return, even if we will never see eye to eye on all of the issues. With that being said, I guess I need to address the elephant in the room. During the campaign, I have to say that I liked Donald Trump (both he and John Kasich were my favorites) because of the fact that I hated Ted Cruz and both were (seemingly) the most moderate Republicans. In the general though, I voted for Hillary Clinton and don't regret the decision.
Why I'm coming here: Cause I occasionally like talking politics, religion, debating, and sharpening my views and I cannot do that on regular comment sections anymore. Thank you and I hope to have a fun time here!
