Hi,

I found this board and joined a few days ago.

I mostly like to discuss business/finance, economics, monetary policy, politics/media, and freedom of speech.

I don't have a solid political affiliation, am a registered voter of "other". Guess you can call me an anarchist. I don't believe government is necessary. I like the saying, "saying people can't survive without government is like saying animals can't survive without farms".

Jump on board A.R.M.11! Have you ever banged about in a mosh pit? If you have, you learn quickly to keep at least one foot on the ground at all times... or you end up horizontal. I like to say "if you haven't gotten dinged up in life, then you haven't lived. Take what you have left and keep going!" Peace to you and yours!

Welcome. People can survive without government but it just doesn't end up being as good as it is with at least a minimal amount, which we are far from having these days. That aside, I predict your username resulting in you getting some poor responses.

I dunno. I just know that there are many that don't have good feelings about her and so a username like that will result in association.

That is interesting. mixing rand and anarchism. That should prove an amusing conversation. I too am an anarchist and as far as i am concerned anyone who makes the mistake of saying anarchism equals no government does not know what they are talking about.

But i can understand a rand follower pushing that line as she was a clueless and self absorbed woman.

Where is the irony? Did you mean to say hypocrisy?

Why not utilize a benefit you paid into? There is no forced redistribution of wealth in that.

Well, as you've seen here already, I'm sure, Rand generates quite a reaction from some of the members. You can expect a LOT more of that...even as deflections and slams against you...in response to just about anything you post. Even if it has nothing to do with Rand. That's just how a fair number of our members roll. Now me...I like Rand.

Interesting. Some say that a conservative is a liberal who's been mugged, if that's true then an anarchist is anyone who hasn't lived in a war zone where gov't/police order has not been maintained for a while.

imho anarchy in real life is really not all that pleasant...
