Welcome boundless! Here in DP, I have encountered a wide spectrum of opinions. This place accommodates the unknowingly ignorant on one end, the impressively erudite on the other, and all levels in between. Many of the regulars here clearly love this place!
As for Conspiracy Theories, I tend to stay away from it's pervasive twisted logic. To each their own.

While the vast majority of conspiracy theories remain just "theories" enough prove true that the entire realm shouldn't be ignored. For example many thought it was ridiculous that the U.S. Government spied on its own citizens, tapped most of their phone calls, etc., until Snowden demonstrated it was real. No matter how you feel about what Snowden did he certainly woke many folks up to the realities of our government. I have very mixed feelings about Snowden personally. One thing he did for sure was expose truth.

I live less than a mile from the NSA main campus, my feelings for the agency are just as mixed as they are for Snowden.

Have at it. All grins! I rigorously support the right to investigate Conspiracy Theories. My wife insisted I read Stephen King's November 22, 1963 novel. As for ambivalence regarding Snowden, new Director of the CIA, Mike Pompeo, has publicly stated he would like Snowden brought back to the U.S., given a public trial, then executed. Obama seemed content to just have Snowden remain out of the U.S. I do not support widespread government espionage on American citizens. I believe the process violates our 4th Amendment. Anyway, lets take this conversation out of the Come in and say "hi" and continue sometime in a more appropriate forum category. Cheers!

Not a conservative, but I lived in MD for many years when I identified as libertarian.

Curious - what part of the state? I was in the burbs NW of the city, mostly from Rockville up to and around Germantown. North Potomac, mostly.
