US Christians seek legal advantage over the rest.

It's obvious you've never met a real one.
What a clown.

You need to improve your reading comprehension so you do not prove to be a clown. Which part of "as a group" do you find so difficult to understand? Yes I met several, wonderful people, as individuals. Now go and improve your reading skills.

I can scientifically discredit evolution theory in one word: Europe!

All we need to do is look at Europe and see the tragedy playing out over there and we know for certain that mankind cannot live by secular humanism. For Europe is falling to Islam and its because of the secular-progressives and their antichrist agenda. The future of Europe looks real ugly, even horrifying. Europe teaches us that separating our nation from Christ leads to death just as Scripture warned us it would. ...

Oh wow, my mind is blown. I think this guy just scientifically proved that Allah is the true God.

As a atheist, I understand that America is moving to becoming a Catholic country in the second half of the twenty-first century.

There are many assholes and hypocrites in politics.

But these particular assholes are trying to shove their particularly ugly form of MY religion down my throat.

About 50% of Protestants and Catholics voted for Bill Clinton second time around. Did the left write breathless story after story about how the Christian right has lost credibility ?? The left has never given Christian credibility, so stop with appeal to hypocrisy.

Who would you vote for, Nero or Caligula ??

I doubt any of the Christian right voted for Clinton. The rest of us left judgment to God since no laws were broken.

I know all about the history of the Inquisition. Yes it was a sad time in Christian history. But not nearly as sad as the times we live in today! Atheists got big mouths on them and are often too cocky in their rhetoric for their own good, especially when they have nothing good to show for a century of atheism.

Europe used to be a great place before the secular-progressives destroyed it---and it is being utterly destroyed! So atheism most miserably failed Europe just as its failing America and every other nation. But it does say in Scripture that Satan will lay low the nations. Every nation that departs their soul from God will collapse under the weight of their sins.

Europe is the best proof there is no evolution. Atheists have had control over Europe for a long time and now Europe is falling.

Are you advocating state sponsored religion here? That will destroy everything that America stands for a lot sooner than Islam ever could.

He's known as the president who lied under oath and has been accused of violent sexual assault. The Lewinsky story only got pulled into a sexual assault case because the reported behavior matched those reported by the accuser.

Pure balderdash. Lewinski was a willing partner.

The case for impeachment was for perjury. The case that he perjured himself on was a lawsuit against him for sexual assault.

It was actually for sexual harassment. Not assault. The lady said "no" and he put it away. He actually took no for an answer.

There are millions of non Muslim & non Christian assholes out there trying to run everyone else's business as well.

Get a grip.

Show me their legislative agenda. I might not like it either.

Calling all Muslims, Juggaloes, Scientologists, Satanists, FLDS, Moonies, Branch Davidians, Wiccans and Flying Spaghetti Monster worshippers, time to demand your due from the Religious Freedom Task Force!

The second, more difficult category for Project Blitz consists of bills intended to promote the teaching and celebration of Christianity in public schools and elsewhere. These bills are a means of spreading the message that Christian conservatives are the real Americans, and everybody else is here by invitation only.

There are Muslims in the Middle East who want religion to saturate government, schools, and elsewhere.

They believe that only they are the true Muslims and that everybody else has fallen into heresy, in need of a good thumping.

They are called Islamists.

* American Christians really do need a proper leader to bring them back to a healthy perspective. It is frequently argued that the Constitution was inspired by Christianity. Yet, they forget (conveniently) that the authors of the Constitution (and Deceleration) were descendants of grandfathers who used law and jury to hang devils and witches at Salem. Their grandsons (the Founding Fathers) wrote the Constitution in a way that might keep government healthy and religion healthy...separately.

Perjury and obstruction of justice laws were broken.

Actually you don't know that, because you have zero basis for those claims. You've said a lot of **** in the last few posts that mean basically nothing.

I am entitled to voice my opinion, as are you. I happen to think that preserving the separation of government and religion is important to preserving freedom. You are welcome to disagree. I'm glad you find my posts irritating. Too bad you can't actually refute them.

What Salena Zito has tapped into there, though doesn't explicitly discuss it, is that Christian doctrine and the bible does not command perfection. In fact, most of the more prominent conduits of God's law on Earth in the bible were flawed people. Saul (and every other apostle), Job, David, Jonah, Mary Magdalene etc. etc. were all sinners, but all also played their part in the teachings of God's law. Saying "Trump is a SINNER!!" doesn't really have much of an effect on anyone who understands the Bible and the basic tenets of Christianity. Yes, Trump is a sinner, so is everyone.

However, Trump is in unrepentant sinner who pays lip service to Christianity while not-so-secretly he goes on his merry evil way.

There's nothing to refute since you post ONLY opinions of your own.

Well, I'm not likely to post yours.

I said that Lewinski was a willing partner and that Paula Jones was not assaulted. These are facts, not opinions. You just don't like them.

Had it not been for Christianity you would not have a Constitution or Bill of Rights. Modern civilization would not even exist. Christians established everything from modern medicine, the building of the first hospitals, modern science, air travel (as prophesied in Isaiah 60:8), music & vocal theory, and so many other feats impossible to achieve without moral discipline.

Complete nonsense. And conjecture. We may have even had these things sooner. In fact, free thought and independence may have developed much sooner without Christianity. Christianity in no way came up with the foundations of what you claim.

I want you to look at the history. I will criminally summarize:

- The Enlightenment understood that society's liberty, prosperity, and health meant that religion had to be separated from government. These were European Christians who began presenting their philosophies through practicalism, not the religious dogmatism that had haunted all of Europe through the Dark Ages.

- It was Christians in the sixteenth and seventeenth century who were hunting, hanging, drowning, and burning witches and demons. In the late seventeenth century, Christians in America were doing the same thing. For the sake of reference, the Salem Witch Trials occurred in 1692 and 1693. Their grandsons were our Founding Fathers a century later. They understood all too well their own family histories. They understood what religion had to offer in terms of government and expressly followed in the footsteps of the Enlightenment philosophies.

So, declaring that it is because of Christianity that we have the Bill of Rights is falsely presented. It's because of how Christians behaved that the Bill of Rights omits Christianity as a base. It is easy to fall back on the idea that Christianity had everything to do with everything. But this is because Christianity was the religion of the masses. The spirit of the Ten Commandments are found written across all the major religions (even those that predate Christianity) and have been codified as basic human law in virtually every single constitution on the planet. The suggestion that it was because of Christian moral discipline that we have built our Western society, is to declare that the absence of Christianity in Asia equates to no moral discipline. Obviously, this can't be true. Moral discipline is a feature of human decency.
