If they're determined to be a charitable church activity by the IRS then they don't.

And the idea that churches don't have to account to the IRS and other tax vultures is ludicrous. They do and I'm sure there are church-specific accountants to help them pay minimum taxes like the rich liberals do.

I'm an atheist but the whining gets old.

Oh, and while you're at it, why do you pay property taxes to support schools and hospitals? Why do you pay income taxes to support deadbeats who refuse to work? I know government entities don't pay property taxes but if they take property with eminent domain and then rent it out do they have to pay property taxes then? Probably not.

He quoted you meaning you got a notification... being late, whatever that means, is irrelevant.

For the most part, Schools, colleges, and universities do not pay taxes. This is because they educate and socialize the populous. Religious organizations educate and socialize the populous also, I see no difference. Churches by the way do not charge a dime to educate anyone with regards to doctrine, common decency, philosophy, reading, and modest behavior patterns. Schools --- particularly, colleges and universities --- charge an exorbitant amount for the privilege to attend, and frankly; education today seems like something out of La La Land.
