Article here. Acts of rupture, more like illegal acts. The QS which in all but name is a sovereigntist-communist party has decided it wants a communist coup in Quebec, removing the lieutenant-general of Quebec and then stealing all of Quebec's federal tax dollars. Then they want to create "people's assemblies" (might as well just call them soviets at this point) to draft a new constitution, all without a referendum. I imagine the courts, the federal government, and the RCMP would disagree with their policy positions.

I hate sovereigntists like the PQ and Bloc with a passion but at least they have respect for the rule of law. The QS are nothing but commie traitors and should be treated as such.

Wouldn't Canada be better off without the Quebecois?

Suppose Justin inherited his old man's nerves? What will he say when asked how far he's prepared to go?

As an English-Canadian from Ontario who now lives in Quebec, no. Quebec is as much Canadian as any other province.

Well I mean he already does not get along well with the CAQ, I imagine it would end much like that referendum in Catalonia, with people going to prison.

I like Quebec, as an American, because it it is like a visiting a foreign country. Fun to stay at the Chateau Frontenac and having breakfast at Cachon Dingue If I was a Canadian, I would definitely gravitate toward Wexit. Trudeau would be a great king of Quebec..fittingly effete.

QS is not going to be in a position to implement their programs

Watch the Documentary: Quebec My Country Mon Pays. René Lévesque had similar message. It is a very good
Doc.

Ah, the wheel has turned again and it's 1963 all over again. An angry Rassemblement pour l'Indépendance Nationale (RIN) became very vocal about a Marxist change for Quebec but couldn't get any traction nor much popular support. Then three members of the RIN quit and formed the Front de Liberation du Quebec (FLQ) and the bombings and kidnappings began. They discredited the RIN until a disillusioned ex-Liberal cabinet minister who was savvy and strangely charismatic to Quebecois married several separatist parties into the Parti Quebecois (PQ) and successfully began to challenge the status quo of Quebec politics. In 1976 his growing party won a provincial election and soon began changing Quebec dramatically. Then, over the years, the Parti Quebecois began to lose its revolutionary zeal and became a mainstream party. That infuriated both right-wing separatists who founded the Coalition Avenir du Quebec (CAQ) and left-wing activists who formed Quebec Solidaire (QS). Now the PQ is moribund, the CAQ is in power and QS wants a new, not-so-Quiet Revolution. What's old is new again! Vive les differences du Quebec, mais ils sont tellement fou!
(Long live the differences of Quebec, but they are truly crazy!)

Cheers.

My experience is probably limited but I have fond memories of a few of Quebec's women. :)

Q: What are their numbers like?
16% 10 seats
2018 Quebec general election - Wikipedia

Note this policy came out after the election the two separatist parties were received the least votes. I would doubt that QS would do as well if they came out with it before as support for separation is very low ATM. I know of people who voted for them believing they could just vote against any referendum on separation if they won. I doubt they would vote for them with such a policy.
