UCP Candidates Racism, Misogyny, Homophobia, and Islamophobia

The UCP seems to have a big problem with racism (here, here) , misogyny (here), homophobia (here), and Islamophobia (here) among its candidates, with many being involved in controversy and some resigning. All of that on top of Kenney's possible scandal with the kamikaze candidate.

And yet the UCP is still on track to win a massive majority despite its seeming endorsement of racism, misogyny, and Islamophobia by staying quiet or accusing the NDP of trying to undermine them. And Albertans wonder why the rest of the country doesn't like them when all of this seems to be perfectly tolerated.

A woman from Iraq doesn’t like Muslims? You know I think I’ll take her at her word

The real scandal is this party is full of p*ssies, they shouldn’t have resigned one candidate. One questioned a march of perverts (and don’t moralize, that’s exactly what pride marches are, an undignified display of sexuality in a public setting) Woman from Iraq doesn’t like Muslims because Allah made her parent’s life a living hell? This party’s cowardice is more a scandal then these candidates

Why don’t you try talking to religious conservative woman, she wants a man who’s head of the household, and if compare this type of woman to your typical feminist she’s usually far happier. I’m certain no lady who’s a serious church goer or active in ministries actually has a problem with anything presented in this

Actually I supported an Ethnically arab woman from the Middle East who doesnt like Islam.

And apparently someone who thinks it serves no purpose for gay people to meander cities in states of undress, and a traditional Christian minister speaking the truth about differences between men and women. No Nazi ideology in any of these

One the candidates he is defending is a white supremacist and he says the party is cowardly for not supporting that. He also has the accompanying misogynistic views of women.

Well clearly not, because I would vote for that Arab woman in a heartbeat.

It is not misogynistic to preach to a Church congregation that the Bible teaches the husband is the head of the household and that in general women are different emotionally then men. This is well supported. I think femininity is a beautiful thing because women are what men are not. Now if you simply view women as walking Vaginas you may disagree.

However no, I do not support a Francoist type regime either, because I do not believe in central government authority, oddly enough these types of regimes only emerge because leftists give the state too much power. If the Spanish republicans didn’t go full commie there would be no Franco even left wing Spanish academics admit the people Franco overthrew would’ve been far more oppressive

Then he is a White Supremacist perhaps.

Nazi is a very specific sub set. One can be white supremacist without being Nazi.

It is like all the name calling referring to "Communist" when it is socialist or even centrist.

I don’t even grant we should go so far as to call someone a white supremacist, that’s a very specific ideology in and of itself.

White supremacist/white nationalist same thing, but with lipstick on the pig. If either self identifying group got into power the policies would end up being the same
