We know who you are — turn yourself in, Toronto police tell woman videotaped tossing chair from condo | CBC News

Toronto police say they know the identity of a woman caught on video throwing a chair from an upper floor of a downtown condo building, but don't know her exact whereabouts and want her to surrender.

Police received a "significant amount of information" from the public that helped officers determine the woman's identity, Const. David Hopkinson of the Toronto Police Service said on Tuesday

He declined to release the woman's name or age, but told CBC Toronto: "We are in the midst of contacting her and giving her an opportunity to consult a lawyer and turn herself in."
Nice to live in a country where this makes the national news for a crime committed

So ****ing funny mate, no joke I said EXACTLY the same thing to my wife when I showed her the clip.

Though I did use to joke, when I moved from Halifax to Vancouver, like this was the difference in news:

Vancouver

"Police are investigating a gang shooting in Surrey (cause you know, it's Surrey), no leads yet".

Halifax

"A Tree fell down in Bobs yard last night, RCMP are investigating but so far no leads".

But man, Halifax, seems to be stabbings and other nonsense every week now, that place has definitely gotten more violent, but alot of it is downtown, weekend, alcohol fueled bull**** between hyper macho douchebags.

Well the Maritimes and Prairies are usually the worst areas for crime in the country and has seen small increases again in the last few years but overall crime is still much lower than it was a decade ago, pretty much everywhere. And of course still astronomically lower than almost any city in the US.
