Canada relieved trade deal done, won't forget Trump attacks

More whining.

I'll try this again: I DON'T CARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Canada signed the deal and the deal is done. YOU continue to whine about it.

Apparently, your government liked the deal . You have issues with the deal. That's fine.

You need to argue with your government that is not representing your views. Your argument is with pretty boy, not me.

You guys whined all the time about Canada through out these, don't blame me showing you the other side. Your stance of "whining" is amazing hypocritical:

"Stop whining. That is my job, because Republicans are the true victims here. Only I may whine".

Yes Canadians who say these tatiffs are unfair are "whining", how dare we?

You do not care because you do not know anything about this file, you do not know what you are talking about. Well have fun when these tariffs and counter tariffs causing damage to the ecomony of Kentucky.

If you do not care, stop debating me, because you are not in my league on this issue. You likely think this new deal is "fair trade" solely because Trump says it is, you will just blindly obey him on this issue.

More whining.

Why are you arguing with me and not with your Canadian negotiators? They are the ones that negotiated and then agreed to the agreement.

I don't live in Kentucky.

''More whining'' from you translates to ''I have no facts and know nothing about this issue, so I have to insult the other person who clearly knows more then I do.'' Why don't you actually learn something rather then repeating these canned responses. Frankly I think you are so bad this, you can't debate this issue without relying on canned responses like ''more whining'' that do not require even a moment's thought on your part, Trump supporters never seem to able to actually debate anything in terms of substance. Who needs to think about issues, when you have canned responses eh?

And what was the Canadian government supposed to do to get Trump to drop the steel tariffs? Bet you can't answer that.

So what, you do not care about Kentucky because you do not live there? I guess you do not care about all Americans then eh? I am guessing these tariffs affect more then Kentucky, but since Trump has not told you about that, you get live in blissful ignorance. I doubt you know that Canada is the largest trading partner for 35 US states or how supply chains work, but I bet you think you know a lot about these issues, because you let Trump do your thinking for you on this issue.

OH! MY! GOD!

Do you EVER stop whining?

Was I married to you once?

The deal is done. Stop whining and live with it!

MY GOD! What a pissing and moaning, repetitive method of thought has gripped you.

More whining.

I am aware that Canada agreed to enter into the USMCA.

Are you asserting that Canada was coerced into this and that Canada was deceived or in some way swindled due to their weakness or stupidity?

What is the point of your ongoing whining?

Coerced? Do you know what that means? Applying tariffs against a country you have a free-trade agreement with, and threatening more, while negotiating (in bad faith) is definitely coercion. Definitely as in 'defined as'.

As for weakness and stupidity, according to Trump Canada has been taking your lunch money for years and treating you very badly. Did someone mention whining?

You think I am whining? Stop debating me, because you know nothing about this issue and you care more about semantics about who is whining then making an actual good argument. Clearly you have to resort nonsense semantic arguments and personal insults, because you can't debate facts. Frankly its pointless to debate someone totally ignorant of the facts here, so have a good day. You can whine about who is whining to someone else, because you are not in my league when it comes to actually debating this issue.

I will leave your to your whining, about how the world is so unfair to Republicans:

Don't look now, but Trump DIDN'T drop the steel tariffs.

I know that. Do pay attention please. You clearly did not look at that whole post.

I was asking code1211 what the Canadian government should have done to get Trump to drop the steel tariffs. I bet you and he cannot answer that.

This is what you were responding to: "Why are you arguing with me and not with your Canadian negotiators? They are the ones that negotiated and then agreed to the agreement." You, with your response, were implying that your Canadian negotiators agreed to the agreement in order to get Trump to drop the steel tariffs. He didn't drop them.

I'm thinking your Canadian negotiators failed you. code1211 is correct. You should be crying and whining at them instead of at the US.

Except you can't answer the question, what should Canada have done to get Trump to drop the tariffs? If you can't answer that question, then I think the continuance of these tariffs and counter tariffs lays with Trump.

Tell me something, is the governor of Kentucky being a whiner here:

https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/kentucky-tariffs-canada-trump-usmca-1.4861554

By your logic, sounds like he is a whiner, he should take those tariffs like a man eh?

All this stop whining, stop crying stuff is clearly a tactic, you guys do not want to debate actual issues, so you just declare you do not like ''whining or crying''' saves you effort of actually learning about an issue. Conservatives can whine and cry all they want, because they really are victims eh?

It's not up to me to tell Canada what they should do. If Canada doesn't do what YOU, a Canadian, want them to do then you should tell them...instead of whining and crying at the US.

Canadians want to push back against the US and your idiot president.

Except Trump was the one who put these tariffs in place in the first place, so yes its a totally fair question to ask. This not some totally internal issue to Canada, Trump started this and you still cannot come up with a good justification. Jeeze, you are either being ignorant or dishonest about Trump's role in this, because a 3rd grader could see how Trump started this whole thing.

Edit: Let me guess, you are going to accuse me of ''whining or crying'' in your response and then in some other thread you will talk about how Republicans are the real victims. I can predict what you guys say before you say it, that is how on script you guys are.

Trudeau foolishly risked the global economic security but negotiating with China.

He will pay election day. We don't need pms who praise communists in office.

But it's still ok for Trump to praise Kim and Xi Jin Ping, right?

Trump presented his justification when he announced the steel and aluminum tariffs. Of course, you are free to decide for yourself whether his justification is a "good" justification or not.

Oh...you know, it just occurred to me that perhaps you don't KNOW what his justification is. Well, you can read it for yourself here: https://www.whitehouse.gov/presiden...ion-adjusting-imports-aluminum-united-states/

In any case, Trump has made exceptions for both Canada and Mexico...among other countries. It's all part of ongoing negotiations.

Except you seem to call that whining and crying.

If all you are doing is complaining about the US, then that's what you are doing...whining and crying.

If you want to effectively push back against the US, then you should be talking to your own Canadian negotiators.

But it's still ok for Trump to praise Kim and Xi Jin Ping, right?

His comments on Fidel Castro make you wonder what was his relationship with Castro realy like?

“Fidel Castro was a larger than life leader who served his people for almost half a century. A legendary revolutionary and orator, Mr. Castro made significant improvements to the education and healthcare of his island nation.

“While a controversial figure, both Mr. Castro’s supporters and detractors recognized his tremendous dedication and love for the Cuban people who had a deep and lasting affection for “el Comandante”.

“I know my father was very proud to call him a friend and I had the opportunity to meet Fidel when my father passed away. It was also a real honour to meet his three sons and his brother President Raúl Castro during my recent visit to Cuba.

“On behalf of all Canadians, Sophie and I offer our deepest condolences to the family, friends and many, many supporters of Mr. Castro. We join the people of Cuba today in mourning the loss of this remarkable leader.”

What, his ''national security'' BS arguments. I do not buy that. How is Canada supposed to counter that argument?

And what negotiation is this supposed to be? We are already have a deal, what else do you want? Again, you do not seem to know how supply chains and Canadian trade affect states like say Kentucky.

https://www.cincinnati.com/story/ne...17/02/13/canada-no-1-ky-world-trade/97847964/

The counter tariffs will hurt workers in Kentucky, if you actually care about them, you would want to end the steel tariffs.

As I said, you are free to decide if his justification is good or not. As far as how Canada is supposed to counter his justification...that's your problem. I would suggest honest negotiations for a start.

The USMCA doesn't affect the steel and aluminum tariffs.

1. I don't see anything in that article that connects steel and aluminum tariffs with Canadian business deals with Kentucky.

2. Why should Canada initiate counter tariffs instead of engaging in good faith negotiations to resolve the steel tariff issue?

Seems to me you advocate the same bullying tactics you are whining and crying about at Trump.

Sometimes you have to fight fire with fire, play nice with us, we will play nice, play rough and well, Kentucky might lose some jobs, that is your choice and tons of factories in the US rely on Canadian aluminum.

U.S. aluminum surge relies on Canada

Yeah the bourbon tariffs there to show our displeasure with the steel tariffs, don't like it, drop the steel tariffs and we will drop those tariffs and if you that is unfair, tough, we can play just as rough as Trump does.

If you cannot come up with good reason to justify these steel tariffs or even say what Canada can do to get Trump to drop these tariffs, then you do not want engage in a rational debate and any American worker who suffers because of this will be your on head. What is "honest talks" in your opinion? How has Canada not been honest?
