Justin Trudeau? A......a.......a groper?

OK I see your point.
Question: These other transgressions...were they ancient as this is?

To the best of my recollection, some of them were pretty old.

Another Question: How old were the other transgressors when their capital offences took place?

I don't know, but Pierre Lite was 28. That's plenty old enough to know better.

For me, the bottom line is this;
If a male or a female rape or otherwise touch another in a sexual manner after being asked or told to stop...that male or female should be arrested.

Sorry, but no. That's means groping is acceptable if it's only a problem when the groper doesn't cease after being told to. That's simply not reasonable.

However...if a 20-something, spoiled rich kid grabs an ass or something to that effect, and it goes no further...that's life.

Nope. It's a crime. Period.

And if some upidy man or woman make legal accusations over normal sexual advances, and waste tax payers' money on legal fees for such horse****...that person needs to be charged for the total costs of said legal actions.

If you think unwanted groping is "normal sexual advances", I pity the girls you dated.

lol...you American wannabes are so desperate.

Investigate it, and if there is evidence of wrongdoing, proceed as you would against anyone else. This is easy... But let's not act like this is some noble investigation...

https://calgaryherald.com/news/loca...f-harassment-allegations-not-far-off-the-mark

I'm not sure if the woman was abused by Trudeau or not, I'd have to see the results of an investigation. But the folks that dredged this up, without her consent, as well as those of you creaming your jeans at the prospect of something (please, anything!!!) that might bring down Trudeau, without any real concern for this woman's experience, then or now, are certainly enjoying an old fashioned gang bang, aren't you? I mean...the OP has already stated she doesn't care about #MeToo...how will your posting history support your current outrage?

Have the investigation, IF the alleged victim wishes it, and be professional. The rest is just egg on your face.

Isn't it interesting how all these accusations are coming out lately?
It's now a crime to come-on to a woman.

Really? Know better? I'm still trying to figure out what he did that has caused all this uproar.

Oh My Gawd! A man touched a woman in a sexual manner.
Stand the prick up and shoot 'I'm!
Utter horse kaka...

Nope. It's a crime. Period.
More's the pity...

You have no idea...

I grew up in a world where sex was a sport enjoyed by all.
Today...the tweenkie brigades have made sex a criminal act on the same scale as a violent rape.
Brought to you by a hoard of big fat, sexually frustrated virgins...IMHO of course...

T

I hate people who politicise women's issues, it trivialises it from women being bashed raped and murdered to.. ooooh please don't touch me... (wrist on forehead).

Trudeau is the master of politicizing women's issues.

Trudeau is a twit.
He couldn't "politicize" his way to the bathroom.
Let him legalize pot, and then out with the trash.

I guess if you don't know the difference between a "come on" and a grope by now, you never will.

Steve...I've been "groped" by so many women, I lost count decades ago.
It doesn't bother me. Rather I find it a compliment.
And frankly...if a woman grabs my ass or rubs my pants in a "suggestive" manner, and I say "please stop". That's that. End of issue.
And hey...this common sense attitude towards male/female relations, save us all tons of cash in legal fees.
Who knows...maybe sex will be fun again...

Did you see that apology? He said he wouldn't have done it if he knew she was a reporter. It's like saying, "I didn't think you were anyone special, so I thought I'd be able to get away with groping you". Really?

Tell you what. Give me your address, and point out the women in your family. I'll come and grope one of them and then ask you to forgive my "minor transgression". How's that work for you?

Stevecanuck:

Yeah man. C'mon over to Montreal, Quebec and I'll introduce you to the local women of my family. But be warned, they have a streak of psycho in them, so if you grope you may have to learn to cope without an appendage or two. The ladies of my family, with two exceptions, would have dealt with the young dauphin Justin harshly in 2000. And if he lucked out and fondled one of the two meek ones, well two words - collective defence. Alas, I have no daughters of my own but if I did, they would be trained to defend themselves in such a situation. My god-daughter however would beat the crap out of an unwanted fondler if pushed to do so, and she is trained in three martial arts, one very well. So come on down and we'll teach you some "olde fashioned" manners and the new "kinetic feminism" to boot.

Cheers.

All of which proves my point. Guys who put their hands on women without permission need to be taken down, yet you defended the Creep-in-Chief in post #2 when YOU said, "Forgive him this minor transgression". So which is it?????? Is groping a "minor transgression", or is it worthy of a beating as YOU so proudly claim that most of the women in your family would be all too happy and capable of administering. Pick a lane, buddy. Pick a lane.

I haven't been able to find out what Trudeau did. Do you know? Got a link?

Decades back, I got pinched on my behind. I forgot how I dealt with that.

But I still remember with relish how I dealt with a professor witholding my score unless I met him at a restaurant. I got a group of friends - all males - look on, as I marched to his desk and demanded to have it. He gave it pronto.

I've had several experiences of sexual harassment during my time.....but I've also been fortunate to have been protected by men.
Chivalry was there for me.

Yes, that's exactly how we think of Trump, buddy... :) Good read on the Canadian mindset!

I've been wondering the same thing. I want to compare what he allegedly did to what those he turfed from his caucus did. I don't know if the lady in question ever provided those details.

Stevecanuck:

So you don't even know what Justin Trudeau is alleged to have done 18 years ago, but you're cool with attacking him nonetheless? Interesting. Now-PM Trudeau has made lots of really bad choices since becoming PM so why not stick to those. Given that the "groped" reporter in question did not confront him, nor go to authorities or the event organisers to lodge a complaint and given that Mr. Trudeau immediately apologised for his forwardness and finally given that this none issue is now 18 years old, I think if we all put our heads together we can can come up other more pressing issues to damn PM Trudeau than a very minor case of wandering hands from nearly two decades ago.

Your desire to character assassinate the dauphin may have temporarily disabled your forensic reasoning.

In episodes like these it is up to the person being harassed to raise a fuss during or shortly after the incident's occurrence. That did not happen in this case, where the reporter only privately recounted her version of events to her editor and another staff member after the fact. Nothing came of it and these many years later the reporter allegedly fondled by Mr. Trudeau does not even want to talk about it anymore. This is now officially a tempest in a teapot. Time to move on perhaps?

Cheers.

Kinda like the woman who accused Al Franken of grabbing her ass while her husband took their picture. If that had been a legit claim why didn't she just call him out in front of her husband and both of them confront him?

Oh the wonders of #MeToo
Isn't this fun?

Apparently, he allegedly groped a reporter in 2000!

Just recently, in an interview.....

In that case...... we have to believe the victim!
Trudeau has to be held accountable. He has to respond to this!

The quote from Trudeau is really unnatural.

Is English his second language?

Would he have been so forward with a local reporter?

Or is he only forward with international reporters?

“Harassment of any kind is unacceptable and Canadians have a right to live and work in environments free from harassment. As a government we take any allegations of misconduct extremely seriously, and we believe that it is important to support women who come forward with allegations and that is exactly what our government will do,” said Trudeau.

Kent Hehr had to resign from cabinet, not for unwanted touching, but merely for saying things like, "You're yummy" to females. Where's the consistency? How is this not hypocrisy?

Send me the results of the investigation, and I'll let you know. You do have them, don't you? To be so adamant? I mean, you must know exactly what happened...and be able to cite sources for how you acquired this information. Let's have a look, so we can make up our minds once and for all.

Trudeau actually had a reasonable way out of this, but he obviously didn't think of it. All he had to say was that he thought that he and the reporter were mutually flirting, and that he misread the signals. "Opps, my bad. I thought we were both into this. So sorry".
