The late mayor Rob Ford’s estate is valued at $1.1 million, according to documents filed in Toronto estates court in the last few months.
And, shedding further light on a claim by Ford’s widow, Renata, in an explosive lawsuit, her late husband’s estate documents show no indication there has been a detailed accounting of the late mayor’s financial affairs, or any payout to his beneficiaries, two years after his death. cont.

So it looks like Doug Ford, may have stolen from his dead brothers wife and children. Yes I know that nothing has been proven in court and they are part of a court process. But for a family feud to get to this stage is Soap opera levels of Drama.

If true however, and he would steal from his brothers children, just imagine how much he will steal from Ontario taxpayers.

Ontario Conservative Party snatching defeat from the jaws of victory

Doug Ford had stood by his brother during those scandalous times....even to the detriment of his (Doug) own reputation.
I find it hard to think that Doug would steal from Rob's children.

I really question the timing of this lawsuit - 3 days before the election.

Furthermore, there's also the statement of Rob's mother:

Diane Ford sent the following statement through Doug’s spokesperson.

“It is heartbreaking that Renata has chosen to bring forward these false and baseless allegations against our family, right in the middle of the provincial election campaign. As a family, our one goal is to ensure Rob’s children are cared for and their financial futures are secure.

Renata has serious struggles with addiction, and our hope is that she will accept help for the sake of herself and my grandchildren,” Diane said in her statement.

If the widow has addiction issues, it is highly likely she can't be trusted with money.
Will you entrust your son's inheritance to his designated guardian if you know his guardian is an addict?

We don't know the details of this drama.

I can't imagine Renata picking a fight with Doug without good reason, so odds are he's guilty of something, though the exact scope of that guilt is to be determined.

I'm sure the timing was such that she tried to pressure him to settle before going public with this; which in no way absolves him of the ugliness of his alleged misdeeds, nor does it mean they didn't happen, or are less likely to be real.

As to stealing from Ontario taxpayers, the likely deficit incurred by his policies has already been determined as being by far the largest of all three parties.

Somebody posted a nasty-looking photo of Horwarth's kid, and the poster tried to attack Horwath through it. Good thing, no one went for it.

Family drama, is different. We all have experience of family drama.....especially those involving in-laws. A lot of moving parts with
family dramas.....sometimes, many sides to it.

Final Ipsos poll suggests Doug Ford and PCs headed for a majority

The final Ipsos poll of the campaign, conducted between June 3 and 5, points to a three-point Progressive Conservative lead province-wide and a double-digit lead in the 905. That’s majority territory for Ford, who has seemingly emerged unscathed from two days of high-profile family drama centering around a lawsuit launched by his sister-in-law.

“Basically people who don’t like him are the ones that are talking about (the lawsuit), not the people who are going to vote for him,” said Darrell Bricker, CEO of Ipsos Public Affairs.

Bricker said that overall voter turnout remains the biggest source of uncertainty at this point when it comes to Thursday’s outcome. Typically, it has hovered around 50 to 60 per cent in past Ontario elections.

“If one party’s voters show up at a historically high level, that could throw out all of the calculations,” he noted.

“So there’s potential for a lot of surprise on election night.”

We really need this majority. We don't want a coalition!

Let's not take it for granted. MAKE SURE YOU VOTE!

Your source also said this:

Ford’s will describes his holdings in generalities, not specifics. He stated in the will that he has appointed Doug as executor, with Randy to take over if Doug dies or cannot fulfil the duties.
Rob’s will makes a simple division of his holdings at time of death, dividing it by thirds among his wife and two children.

There is no mention of the Ford family company shares that Renata said Rob owned.

In her lawsuit, Renata said it is her belief that Doug gave Rob’s shares in Deco Labels, the family company, to brother Randy for $1. Renata’s court filings state she has been told Rob’s shares in Deco had no value.
