Junoir Hockey Team Bus Crash

Tragic. May the dead rest in peace and may their families heal from such a tragic calamity in due course. Life is cruel to the innocent and unlucky and death too often is senseless and baffling. RIP.

Just a terrible tragedy. Many of the parents had to drive hours to get to Nipawin and wait to hear if their son was dead or injured.

I have came upon a head on collision once and was one of the first there to find a fatality which I will spare the details but it remains frozen in my head.
Cannot imagine the job those first responders had.

Life is so fragile.
 
Just awful. A town of just 6,000 people, it will affect them all. Beyond heartbreaking.

Thoughts go out to everyone there.

I have also, almost 20 years ago now.
I heard their cries, and there were enough other folks to help.
I read later who had died.
While I did not know them, I have never forgotten them and their pain.
God bless them, and now our Canadian families.
I grieve for them.

It is a tragedy in many ways. The loss of so many young lives and from a small town is surely difficult. To add to that hockey IS Canada. The loss must be doubly hard for the nation. :2canadian
