Ontario teachers’ union wants John A. Macdonald schools renamed

It is a really good fit for the times.

No, it's not a good fit at all. Not even close. It's disgusting when something as non-ideological and non-partisan as cancer gets politicised to push whatever point someone is trying to push. Use another word, leave cancer out of it.

Is this a Mod Command?

That mutant Americans are destroying the place is a very common argument now, on all sides....surely we can talk about this as resembling cancer.....

2 Years and 21,000+ posts and you still don't know what a mod directive looks like?

I'll dumb it down for you. Is there a mod box around my comment suggesting it is a mod directive? Of course not, it's a normal post, with my opinion only.

That was of course the hope.

Now we're doing Cancer analogies? Really?

Why not? It seems the social justice movement has metastasized to our neighbors up north and in my opinion much of the movement/victim mentality is nothing more than a harmful illness upon society. The way I see it it's a political form of cancer.

I was reading the Globe and Mail today and this is on the front page:

How ****ing stupid are these people? I think this is a great case for dissolving the teacher's union, if this is the kind of bull**** they are going to be pushing. They are equating the man who essentially united Canada to Hendrik Verwoerd the architect of South African Apartheid or Hitler.

This is ****ing PC insanity.

Agreed.

I've already explained "why not". It's only 4 posts above yours at #52.

Here.

That's my thoughts. You see it differently obviously. I've never been one to politicize tragedies/****ty things that happen to others to push a point so I doubt my stance surprises you anyway.
