What happened to the U.S.A.?

I am 70yrs old.
I am Canadian. As such I have a bit of insight into internal political squabbles that have happened over the years.
weak internationally
Something new happened tpday. The current President called out another President in an international forum.

Wow, has America ever looked so weak internationally?

We need a new country to look to, for leadership. The U.S.A. is so internally focused, they are
a mess.

We stopped caring about being honest and doing it right a long time ago, that's what happened, it is obvious.. You hear all of this scapegoating of Trump to try to keep the little people (AKA The Chumps) from figuring out the truth.

At some point, Donald Trump needs to wake the hell up, realize that he's the president, and start acting like it. Even if most of his policies I would oppose, at least put on a decent face when trying to put forth those policies. And FFS Donald, stop whining at the press yet again when they criticize you. They have the right to do so. Deal with it, as did your predecessor.

And it takes very little cognitive effort to support. Globalism, by contrast, means understanding different nations, cultures, ways of life, and how they fit together.

Exactly and I'm hoping he gets impeached so pence can be president. Pence is worse by damn st least he's preidential.

That's the irony: Trump has proven to be a remarkably poor influence in terms of actually passing legislation. Yes, Obamacare may finally get repealed after about the 20th try, but let's be honest: If Mike Pence had been sworn in on January 20th, Obamacare probably would have been long gone by now.

Obamacare? The problem is healthcare. Forget Obamacare ever existed. Come up with the best healthcare plan you can. Obama tried. you do not like that solution. That is okay. come up with one that 55% of Americans can live with thaat does not f### up the lives of the other 45%.

Nothing matters anymore, not even Constitution, Patriotism, or fellow citizens.

Of course Trump could cause a massive recession through his inability to understand trade and economics and could damage both America's and Canada's economy. So yeah, Trump's policies are the business of other countries, his trade and environmental policies do affect other countries, whether you want to admit that or not.

This whole idea that Trump is some sort of savior of the white working class is a joke, at best he made a bunch of promises he has no idea of keeping and at worst, he is a con man who will introduce kleptocracy like policies to America:

To be fair, I don't think Canada has ever truly looked to America for leadership barring our war mongering federal Conservatives who ha(d/ve) a hard on for throwing down in the ME with the United States.

I was speaking of international leadership. The U.S. has always been a big part of that. These days that leadership is coming out of Paris and Berlin not Washington and London.
