The poor guy is in a rage ease up on him. He was in heaven when he heard then Sec of State Kerry proclaim at Northeastern commencement in early
2016 that they were the first graduating class to enter a 'borderless world' he thought the argument was over. Hillary was on her way to put the final nail in the coffin of nationalism, whoops along came Trump. I am a little concerned about his state of mind, diehards always die hard.

America is having a problem just like Canada is. It's called massive immigration from countries that are culturally incompatible. The more languages, cultures, traditions and religions a country allows in the more problems that will be created.

Yeah, GWB started hurting our international reputation. Now Trump is destroying it. It's going to be really hard to recover from what Trump is doing and how he makes Americans look.

My husband and I watch a lot of international news, so we know what other countries are saying and how they view Trumps behavior. His supporters are actually very dangerous for not caring about America's international reputation. America First is starting to look like America on it's own and sitting back while the rest of the world moves ahead. These idiots think we are going to command respect and run the world with nukes and tough talk.

People are so dumb. I am not happy with my insurance. It's expensive and covers nothing. But repealing Obamacare is not going to improve anything. If anything, our health care costs will get worse and less people will have access. It's by no means a solution. How freaking stupid can people be? Really.

I agree it shouldn't have happened. But Omar Khadr was 15, a child soldier, when he was captured by the US while resisting the invasion of Iraq. The Canadian government definitely should have done more to try to get him out of Gitmo.

Of course Trump could cause a massive recession through his inability to understand trade and economics and could damage both America's and Canada's economy. So yeah, Trump's policies are the business of other countries, his trade and environmental policies do affect other countries, whether you want to admit that or not.

Actually it was the Liberal government of Jean Chretien and it was Afghanistan where Canadian maintains a training force. That was a "feel good" move as the Bush administration was being arrogant, and done as part of an international force. Some of the members of that international force joined because Canada was in...the first full conflict since Korea. That added gravitas.

Chretien is reported to have told Bush "go **** yourself" when Bush was pressuring for Canada to help in the Iraq invasion. Partly because Canada knew there we no WMD's and was a lost cause, and partly because of an illegal tariff on Canada's softwood lumber.

Chretien won a record 4th term because he "kept us out of Iraq"
