The BC NDP supported by the Greens will now form a government (if they can pass a confidence vote) after the Liberals were defeated in a vote of confidence. It would end 16 years of Liberal government. This is a very interesting event since the legislature will still be basically in a tie, if even one or two MPs are sick or absent for a vote it can change the outcome completely. I do not expect this government to last very long.

Globe article here.

Good riddance to complacent and increasingly corrupt rubbish.

It will be certainly interesting, and yes, probably unstable and shortlived in light of the legislative tie; hoping for the best though.

I also hope our Ontario Liberals follow suit; Kathleen Wynne has been fairly terrible up until recently (doubtless because she'll be facing an election fairly soon).

A sad day for British Columbia indeed

Not to worry though, the BC NDP will find someway to mess up the province (again) and will probably not last the next election. I'm eagerly awaiting news of the next "fast ferry" program im sure is coming
