O'Leary has dropped out of the Conservative leadership race meaning Maxime Bernier will more than likely become leader. Though I doubt the Libertarian Bernier will have much of a chance against Trudeau, especially in the East despite being from Quebec.

Damn that O'Leary. Never heard of him. I wonder what it means when the only public recognition you receive is when you quit? I don''t live in Canada, so maybe that explains it. Let me check. Yep. Not in Canada. You Canadians can thank me later - like when I quit.

Who did you say you were again?

Conservative Party stuff doesn't register much with me, but that O'Leary guy sounded a little to much like a populist bandwagoneer.

Ya, he was a donut. Thank goodness he dropped out, the last thing the world needed was another rich reality tv start running a country. :)

Not a conservative, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Chong...he seems the most moderate and reasonable and interested in governing, vs. fear mongering / pandering to lowest common denominator.
