Former Alberta premier Jim Prentice dies in plane crash in southern B.C. - The Globe and Mail
Jim Prentice, a former Alberta premier and federal cabinet minister, is among the four people who died in a plane crash in British Columbia.

Mr. Prentice was a passenger on a Cessna 500 business jet that crashed on Thursday evening near Kelowna, B.C.

The four victims also include Calgary optometrist Ken Gellatly, the father-in-law of one of Mr. Prentice’s daughters, Cassia.
RIP Jim, my condolences to the families and friends

RIP Jim. He died way before his time. Is it just me or do a lot of Canadian politicians die in small plane crashes?
