GOP Rep: I'm 'Struggling' On My $174K Salary (VIDEO)

Please show me a single post on this board where I called ANY teacher an overpaid slob. If you can, I'll have a mod delete my account (Redress might enjoy doing it ;)). If not, then have a mod delete YOUR account.

I believe it was TurtleDude that called them that and also Fox News. I am not sure if you did or not but I am not sure I ever addressed you directly, either.

You are like the attack king. Is there a thread that exists where you post without any ad homs? It's sad, really.
That's rich coming from someone who called posters in this thread assholes.

Are these people serious as they defend this guy and then forget that they called teachers overpaid slobs? Assholes. You guys are officially assholes.

I defended this guy, NEVER called teachers 'overpaid slobs', yet you lump me in with the 'assholes'. Your 'I am not sure I ever addressed you directly' comment is nonsense, and you know it, based on how you made the original comment.

Moderator's Warning:
The usual posters making the usual personal attacks? Say it ain't so? Cease with the personal attacks immediately or else.

If I am not mistaken

The airfare is covered by the government and so would be the rental of a home in DC.

I don't know if this is the case. Could you source it?

EDIT: I don't see any such benefits in this link here... but I am still looking... could you do the same and if you see evidence of your claim, please post it...

Second edit: it was discussed later in the thread after I posted this. It seems that this is NOT true and that the representative must pay for this. In this case, it is not a stretch it would be difficult for someone to live on this salary considering the travel back and forth, renting a place in DC, and maintaining a home in the home district.

Do we know that he gets his DC housing covered?

Considering what the CEOs are making nowadays the guy isn't even paid. It's volunteer work he's doing.

So, he's struggling on $174k but those ****in teachers just have this cushy gig...
