Maybe the people are merely seeking ways to partially control these corporations and get them to negotiate. To me it's kind of like tying to boycott a particular gas station in hopes it would then have to reduce it's prices. Also it reminds me of contract negotiation between a fortune 50 company and a union, the members threatened to liquidate all their(401k/shares)holdings in the company which would have supposedly hurt the company, those workers where willing to(legally)hurt their employer with economic sanctions rather than give in to management over a simplest of things.

Is it possible that these corporations have more of a say than the majority of people when it comes to the way politicians act when voting and passing laws, if so then these people that are discussing taking(lawful)actions have every right to do so IMO, if congress won't regulate the banks let the people do it via economic sanction/boycotts/protests or whatever means they deem necessary so long as it's peaceful. I wonder why the free market wouldn't embrace the freedom for these consumers to gather and or protest when they are unsatisfied. If the bankers run this country as some people might say then the grievance should be taken to the banks for discussion.

He's Obama's best friend. I found some interesting things on him but he's the only one I couldn't tie to Marxism, Communism, Socialism, Black liberation theology or terrorism. It was all about Chicago politics and big money. At one time he was working for GM as something to do with making loans, but it was fishier than that. He was in control of billions of dollars. Between two and three billion if I recall correctly. Never was able to tie him to the GM bailout though. He seems to no longer be involved with them. There was other things too, but I'd have to dig for them. It's been a couple years.

Maggie. Our buddy Redress is being evasive and distractive trying to minimize the content contained within that blog reference, because he has no counter for it. The same for the video, which is a word-by-word indictment of SEIU that is undeniable. It's an old leftie's trick. If you can't baffle 'em with brilliance, dazzlin' 'em with bull****! That's for people other than me to figure out. I'd say it might border on sedition. I just hope it stays in the news so that people can see what union thuggary really means. I don't care if they investigate it -- he probably really didn't break any laws -- but he's a cocky son of a bitch, so if he had to spend bucks on legals fees, that'd make me one happy camper. ;)

So this is more about your irrational anger toward unions than any real sense of justice? I understand not liking the guy or his plan, but it has little bearing on "the left" or "unions" or any other group that includes millions of American citizens. I also can't support using public resources to carry out personal vendettas.

Ha! Well, they sure won't be doin' a congressional investigation and wastin' any government resources 'cause Maggie doesn't like him. So I guess you won't have to worry about supporting it. If Congress has the time to investigate steroids in baseball for months on end, they might as well make this arrogant guy's life a bit dicey. Heck, he'd probably get off on the adrenalin anyway. If you can give me more reliable sources, I'd be more than willing to take a look, but until then this is total BS

I agree he seems like a jerk, and I certainly wouldn't support his plan to tank the economy. I hope I don't come off as too antagonistic, because I don't intend to disrespect you. I tire of Beck and his antics. Use a big enough brush and everyone gets painted red.
