This is what I'm talking about. I bought that video, and it turns it was less than accurate. I'm just being a little more careful about what I do and don't believe after that debacle.

Anybody can post anything to youtube, and anyone can go ape****e over it on the internet. The fact that so far it's only being reported by Glenn Beck makes me a little more cautious. A credible story would be reported by more media outlets. When I see something on a liberal blog or MSNBC, I at least go and check out what Fox has to say about it. If that's nothing, then I usually conclude that someone is blowing something out of proportion, if not outright fabricating it.

The video of the former DOA employee that Breitbart edited should show you that it's a bad idea to believe everything you see on the internet. At least until there's more evidence.

I agree. It's kind of like when they say Conservatives are anti-government just because we want limited government.
I don't think Liblady wants what Stephen Lerner wants.
Luckily they won't succeed this time, but what's to stop them from growing into something that can succeed?
They sure jumped on and arrested the guy who was making his own money. What are the chances he would've collapsed the economy?

When I see something on Fox, I'm not a bit surprised when I don't see it on MSNBC.
If it makes their side or this administration look bad, they ignore it.

In the clip, the man The Blaze identifies as Lerner suggests that citizens and community organizing groups exert pressure on the financial system through a campaign of strikes and civil disobedience.
It shouldn't surprise anyone that Beck blows the import of the clip way out of proportion. But what's truly remarkable is that Beck responds to that supposedly dangerous rhetoric with full-throated apocalyptic panic:

Lerner's plan is to organize a mass, coordinated "strike" on mortgage, student loan, and local government debt payments--thus bringing the banks to the edge of insolvency and forcing them to renegotiate the terms of the loans. This destabilization and turmoil, Lerner hopes, will also crash the stock market, isolating the banking class and allowing for a transfer of power.
Lerner's plan starts by attacking JP Morgan Chase in early May, with demonstrations on Wall Street, protests at the annual shareholder meeting, and then calls for a coordinated mortgage strike.
Lerner also says explicitly that, although the attack will benefit labor unions, it cannot be seen as being organized by them. It must therefore be run by community organizations.

You destroy the economy to allow for people like Obama and his minions to intall Socialism/Marxism.

This is outlined in the Cloward & Pevin strategy.

Remember Obama was raised by Communists, and he said himself he hung out with them in school, then spent 20 years being indoctrinated in the ways of Black Liberation Theology which is based on Marxism in Rev. Wright's Church.

Also Obama's Czars and others close to him like William Ayers have said things like Workers of the work Unite which is not based on Capitalism.

Then there is one who admires Mao.

I have said for a while that it seemed Obama was working to destroy our economy with stupid and failed spending plans like Cash for Clunkers which cost $28,000 per car and helped Toyota the most because it was written by fools. In the end it really helped nothing we were told it would.

Take all of this and Van Jones and you get a picture of what is going on, and why.

Well I imagine that right now the MSN is busting there asses looking for a way to refute it or put a big spin on it.
I'm thinking they are going to have to find out who recorded it and try to destroy his credibility.

Some funds and investment firms bet against the stock market, buying short. It's like playing the no-pass line in craps.

Two points from the story - the tape 'may' be of Learner. No one else but Learner seems to be involved with this. It was his plan to convince millions of people to not pay their bills.

How is one man's totally unworkable plan 'breaking news'?
