If I were to venture a guess, I'd say he just gave everyone a clue. Clearly, his political views aren't the only aspects that formulate the basis of his anti-Obama resentment.

Well, that's a part of the problem. Political success is judged solely on the ability to win elections, not on the success the politician is able to have in governing well, improving conditions for the citizenry, or making the world a safer and more prosperous place. If you can get reelected, by hook or by crook, that's all that matters. With those attitudes predominant in this era, it's not surprising we get the dross that we do.

Well many on the far right have maintained that the NHS, welfare state and comprehensive education are bad, but funnily enough, no Conservative government has ever abolished them, not even the sainted Margaret.

Never mind my other post... I understand my confusion now... She advocated a no fly zone, but it's debatable if she originated the idea.

I have been working so much, I don't have time to follow this stuff... but I'd say her advisors gave her the talking points, and Obama was probably discussing this with his team back then too.

That comic has been flying around since he was elected. Also it was the same comic that other Presidents have been put in before also, just slightly different to match the times. Just because the current Prez is black doesn't make the comic racist. What does is peoples willingness to believe that it is racist while ignoring the long standing tradtion of making past Presidents look like monkey's in a comic strip.

Curious though, that that is the single most popular cartoon of Obama being pedalled around DP attack-threads, don't you think? This is, what? the third time I've seen it deployed this month. I don't recall another caricature. Please prove me wrong, 'cos I may be.
