In the continuing saga of data security firm HBGary, a new caveat has come to light: not only did they plot to help destroy secrets outlet WikiLeaks and discredit progressive bloggers, they also crafted detailed proposals for software that manages online "personas," allowing a single human to assume the identities of as many fake people as they'd like.
That explains the sock puppets that sometimes infest DP. LOL.
But I do have one more serious question. Do the fake personalities from the Air Force use fake 600 hammers? And what about all those extra fake mouths to feed? That is probably in the budget too. Finally, the idea of fake people that don't really exist isn't a real bad idea. We could run some of them for president. They certainly wouldn't be any worse than the real one we have now, or the real one we had before him. :mrgreen:
