Interesting, how long the world will still tolerate the idiotic regime of Iran?

An Iranian-Dutch woman arrested in Iran in 2009 has been hanged, according to news agency reports.

State television said Zahram Bahrami had been executed for possessing and selling drugs. She was arrested after taking part in an anti-government demonstration. According to news agency AP, the report said that initially she was arrested for committing ‘security crimes’, but it did not say what became of that case.

Iran refused to recognise Bahrami’s dual nationality. A spokesman for foreign minister Uri Rosenthal said the minister would summon the Iranian ambassador for an explanation.

yes alfons, like the world has nothing better to do, like for example pay bills and go about their daily lives, instead they should go risk their sons and daughters lives, even though iran is not threatening to invade and take over the world. alfons you certainly are a genious for someone who most likely wears an adult diaper and may possibly forget his own name from time to time.

o and alfons, i like how you through that nazi picture in their for dramatic affect, did you think of that all on your own?

Iran does have a large addict population, facilitated by the heroin convoys heading westward from Afghanistan. But the government has been known to use trumped-up drug charges to dispose of regime foes. Such a misdirection device (drug conviction) tends to mute or dampen international scrutiny/criticism.

your right tash, Iran is far from perfect and too strict for my taste, but the only reason i think their govt held up is that, they actually want their citizens to be more educated, and have more jobs, build infrastructure and do research , for example they dapple in nanotech, sent a rocket to space, built their own car and their healthcare tech is not to shabby, compared to arabs like mubarek well you see what i mean plus even if their govt is a dictator it is not a puppet dictator installed by another country to drain the people like a leach for another country sugar plum

Just a head's up... Iran does not recognize dual citizenship. This circumstance can have far-reaching travel, documentation, and legal implications.

Although he has been propped up by the US and to some extent the EU, Hosni Mubarak was not installed by any foreign government.

Iran and its people are top notch. However the clerical regime is rogue, repressive, and draconian in many respects. It's only a matter of time until Iran explodes internally.

The Twelver Sect of Shia Islam is in the driver's seat, and the Iranian people are forced to go along for the ride. The Twelvers are on a roll.
